Chapter 12

Alex's Pov.

"Dallas, I need your help." I say getting up from my seat on the green park bench. "I've been trying to call Nikole but she won't answer." I'm really worried about her.. She's my best friend. "What am I supposed to do?" He looked confused. Of course he has no idea! "I need help finding her.. And besides Blake and Nikole your the only one I trust." I look down at my blue/teal DC shoes. I wait, than I look back up he doesn't know what to say. "Please Dallas?" I say starting to tear up he sees and rushes to my comfort. "Of course I will help you find her." He wraps his arms around my waist. "Great! Uh, where do we start?" I say.

"We should try to call Blake." He says. And I just nod. I need to find her. Dallas walks away to call him. 5 minutes later he walks back. "I know where they are. There's just a slight problem." Dallas says looking to the ground than back into my eyes. "What is it?!" I yell. I'm terrified. "It's.. Jack. He has her. He's clawed her.." I'm super confused. "What does that mean?"

"It means, Alex. That he's killing her slowly. From the inside out.."

I stare wide eyed. "We have to go. NOW!" We run to the nearest car jump in and find a spare key in the shade we start the ignition and roared away.

Blake's Pov.

The last thing I remember is hearing a gasp escape from Nikole's lips. I can't move he didn't claw me but I'm not healing quick enough. I need blood. I'm just hoping he didn't claw her, she would be dead in a couple of hours. I flinched at the thought of Alex and I at Nikole's funeral just crying and wishing I could have done something to safe her life. I get a little strength back and pick up my head I look at Nikole I don't see any claw marks but I can't see her back or sides. She's practically laying in a pool of blood.

I try as hard as I can to break a chain it won't work. But the burning sensation in my arms are real. My chest is almost healed and I feel okay now. I look over to my left and see the black figure standing at the door way. Than finally I heard the lowest noise of Nikole saying my name. "Blake.."

"Nikole! Are you okay?" She didn't respond but moved over and I saw her side. Giant claw marks raked down the side. I heard that it feels like hell. "Nikole..." I say I start to tear up. "I'm getting you out of this and.. We will find a cure." I was so focused on Nikole I didn't see the figure standing beside me. "Jack." I say. I know him. Nikole and him dated in softmore year. Than that little kid cheated on her but said he still loved her. "Remember me? Blake."

"How could I forget the lil boy who ruined Nikole's life?"

"I've been told you claimed her?"

"What if I have?" I growled in his face. He pulled back him arm and slapped me across the face. "I could kill you with out blinking." I say spitting in his face. "This is how your getting to me? By killing Nikole!"

"If that's what it takes." He says smirking. "SAFE HER LIFE!" I yell.

"No."

"Kill me! Not her." I scream so loud. It hurts my own ears. My legs are free from chains I kick him hard, He falls to the ground I use all my strength and pulled the chains off my arms. I grabbed Jack while he was down and punched my across the face. "Forgive me if I miss your heart the first few times." I pick him up my the collar of his shirt and grab a metal pole. I stick it threw it stomach. "Oops. Not there." I take it out. And he yelps in pain. Than I stick it a few inches from his heart. "Missed again." Than I grabbed his neck and turned it until I snapped his neck. I heard his heart pump for the last time than I drop his lifeless body and run over to Nikole. He heart pace was very slow. "Nikole.. Babe. Are you with me?"

"Blake.." She blinked open her eyes. I pulled the chains off of her arms and picked her up I walk outside I look to see a car pull up. Is that Dallas? "DALLAS!" I yell. He gets out of the car. Alex following him. That's when Nikole took her final breath...
