Love is a strong word

Chapter 19

Alex's Pov.

I stare at the man in a black cloak. We are still in this stupid little shack barn thing. I've been standing for hours.

"Excuse me sir?" I raise my voice sounding annoyed. "What?" He snapped. "Zayum. Who woke up on the wrong side of the bed today buttcheek?"

I felt that same sharp pain in my side that I felt the night I met him. I clenched over in pain, "STOP STOP!" I yell. "Than don't call me names." He retorts.

"What are we even doing?"

"We are starting to practice magic." He pronounces.

"I thought we already did that? I mean, I basically ran Nikole out of here so she wouldn't get hurt."

"That was a simple spell." He scoffs.

"Simple? I felt dizzy after that." I reply.

"Your not strong enough." He walks away from the table he was standing at. "You need to be stronger."

"How do I get 'stronger'?" I say.

"By practicing." He says looking up.

"Can I know your name?" I say, he just looks at me like that was the most stupidest questions he's ever heard.

"No." He replies simply.

"It's hard to work with you."

He walked over to me, "We are starting to practice now, repeat after me."

"Okay." I say back.

"Co by ya no man consua." He says slowly. I focus on the words and I repeat, "Co by ya no man consua."

"Great faster this time." He speeds up.

"Co by ya no man consua. Co by ya no man consua. Co by ya no man consua." I say faster. I feel power surge threw my body and a strong wave threw the building shakes it. He smiled for the first time. "Great now again."

Nikole's Pov.

"Blake!" I yell.

"Yeah? Everything okay love?" He replies quickly.

"Yeah. Everything's fine." I say leaning back on the leather couch. I look around for the remote and grab it. I click the menu button and a different screen pops up. I scroll down threw all the channels and I finally see 'teen wolf.' "I love this show!" I say out loud. Oops. I start laughing.

"What's so funny in there?" I hear Blake sound from the kitchen. "Nothing!" I tell him. "Come in here please! I miss you." I smile.

Soon after saying that he walks into the room, he sits his self right next to me. "What are we gonna do about Alex?" I says propping his head back on the couch in frustration. "I don't even know anymore.." I trail off. "We still have 1 week till Disney and she and Dallas booked a room." He says.

"Where is Dallas?" I say sitting up. Blake just looks past something, "I don't know." He says looking back at me.

Dallas's Pov.

"Yeah! Over here. A beer please?" I say slamming my fist on the counter of the bar. My waitress brings my drink and winks at me. "Not interested." I say checking her up and down. "I'm taken." She just rolls her eyes and struts off.

"I guess those good looks suit you well Dallas." A voice sounded from behind me. I turn around, "Alex? What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you. And.." She says looking at the hardware floor. "And what?" I question.

"And I have no where to go. I almost killed Nikole with the new power I have." Alex says.

"Power?" I step getting closer to her. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm a.. Witch." She speaks slow but clearly. "A what?" I say.

"A witch. We need to go somewhere private." She grabs my wrist and pulls be out side the bar. My beer still in hand.

"Witches are real?" I smile. Leaning in for a kiss. "They are." She smiles. Pulling away from me.

"Have you talked to Nikole?" I asked.

"No, actually I- I haven't."

"What? Why not? She's probably worried sick about you!" I press. "I know I know, I almost hurt her tho. No one is safe around me. Even you!" She pushes me away and turns around. "I don't want to hurt you."

I grab her waist and pull her around. "I'll take my chances."

"I really don't want to hurt you." She whispers. "I'm old enough to take care of myself baby girl."

"Baby girl? Is that my new name?" She questions. "Only if you want it to be." I say charmingly. "I love you Alex, I know it's a danger to be near you, but I feel like without you my life is basically nothing. I need you in my life Alex. You make me want to get up everyday just to see your beautiful face and hopefully that's the reason you get up too. I hope you believe I love you more than the world because I do. And always will." I say taking a deep breath at my speech. I skim my eyes away from her emerald green eyes. They we tearing up. I rush to her comfort. "Don't worry babe. I won't let anyone or anything hurt you. I love you."

"I love you so much. You don't even know.." She replies. I lay my head on top of hers still holding her, "I do know."
