Chapter 16

Blake's Pov.

We were on our way to the address. I swear I'm gonna rip off the kids head. I tensed up holding the wheel with extreme strength. Dallas grabbed my shoulder "Brother, don't worry we are going to get her back." He said nodding at me than looking back at Alex. "Okay?" He spoke again.

"I'm gonna rip off there head." I growled.

"Death is never the answer." Dallas said. I looked at him in amazement. "Since when have you ever said that Dallas? You've changed brother." I say.

"For the greater good." He said smiling back at Alex. I thought to myself, she makes him a better person. Do I act differently around Nikole? No. I've always acted like the good guy..

We pulled up to the drive way. We had our plan. "Alex stay in the car." I say closing the door than she opens her door and steps out. I looked at her, "I told you to stay in the car." She looked at Dallas. "Alex, is more safer there." He looked at her soft eyed.

"I'm not staying while you two rescue her. I'm going with." She looked at Dallas than switched back to me. Waiting for acceptance. I rolled my eyes. "Dallas watch her. Protect her." I pointed at her than turned away.

We walked into a red barn. Nikole was laying on the end blood pouring out of her stomach. Alex gasped. "Shhh." Dallas grabbed her. I looked wide eyed. "Nikole.." I whispered. "Watch out for me I'm going to get her." I walked slightly over to where she was pinned up. "Nikole?" I whispered. She blinked open her eyes. "Blake?" She said her eyes getting bigger. "I'm gonna get you out of here." I picked at the chains till they broke off. Left arm, than the right. I picked her up and carried her back to Dallas and Alex. She passed out in my arms again. Than I feel a slight pain threw my back I drop to my knees pushing Nikole to Dallas. "GO!" I yell I watch him pick up Nikole and Alex carrying them to the car.

I turned around to face my attacker he had stabbed a stick into my back it burns like hell. It was Jack. I swear I killed him! "How are you alive?!" I say.

"How are you not dead?" He replies. He grabs my neck pushing me up against the wall. "Why not kill you like you did me?" He says looking up and down my body. "Jack." I struggle to say. "You aren't going to kill me."

"What makes you think I won't?" He smiled. He grabbed a metal pole off the ground sticking it into my side. I breathed deeply holding in a gasp. "Your-- a-- Piece--- of-- ." I say than I pull the pole out punching him in the face. Grabbing his neck throwing him on the ground. "When I kill somebody there supposed to stay dead." I pick him up punching my fist threw his chest grabbing his heart. He struggles to talk. "Yo.. You.. W.. Will.. Pa.. Pay." Than I pull out my arm along with his heart. I drop it on the ground. Listening to the last of his breath. I pick up his dead body breathing heavily. I create a small fire throwing his body in it leaving a nasty smell. I walk back to the house seeing the car is already gone.

Nikole's Pov.

I wake up with the staring faces of Blake, Dallas, and Alex. I manage a smile on my face. "Hey guys.."

"Hey." Blake said.

"Hai!" Says Alex.

"Hi." Dallas smirked.

"I'm okay now." I say siting up. There was a small silence. Alex spoke first. "I need to talk to you." She looked at me.

"Yeah yeah." I say getting off the couch and walking up stairs. We both sit down on Blake and I's bed. "Well.." She started off. I look deep into her eyes.

I'm dating Dallas.. I heard.

"You what?!" I yell shaking her.

She looked confused. "I didn't say anything!" She yelled. "YES YOU DID! Your dating Dallas!" I scream back.

"I promise I didn't tell you that.." She trailed off. I looked at her. "But it's true." I shook her again. "WHAT THE HELL WHERE YOU THINKING?! DID YOU GET INSIDE YOUR HEAD?! MESS WITH YOUR CONFUSED MIND?!" I scream. She just winces. "I'm sorry.." I say.

"No. It's okay. I understand why you wouldn't want me to be with him. But, I think I might be in love with him."

I looked soft eyed. "I want you to be with him."

"Really?!" She pepped up.

"Yes. Really. He can protect you." I embraced her in a hug.

"How could you tell what I was thinking anyway?" She said hanging her head a long my back.

"I don't know.." I replied.
