Chapter 4

I felt his touch all over me. It tingled where he touched me. I was holding the back of his head and nudging him with the tip of my nose. Out of nowhere, Chase came in with John.

"I told you," yelled Chase. John shook his head. "Ok you're right, they're mates." With that they closed the door and left. I looked at Luke and went back to kissing him.

Later at dinner I sat next to Luke. I couldn't get away from him.  "John and I have announcement to make." they looked at me and Luke. "Our newest member,Luke, and our oldest member,Lezzy, found their mates today."

Everyone clapped. Even Luke did. When all of that was said and done, Chase said," don't you have to be a wolf to have a mate?"

John shook his head. "Only one of them has to be a wolf." I was ok with that. After dinner I wanted to go out on a walk with Luke.

Mali stood and began to clean up. Chase helped her. I saw this as a good time to go out. I grabbed Lukes hand and went out the door.

"Where are we going?" Luke asked me. "The meadow." The meadow was beautiful at sunset . There were fireflies and the sky was all sorts of colors.

I layed in the ground and Luke joined me. He held my hand and looked at the sky as the stars began to show. I turned to him once the sun had set and put my hand on his face. He sat up and put his hands around me.

He began to kiss me all down my neck to my shoulder. "Ow ," I said, he had bit me. "Sorry," he said. "I was marking you as mine."

I looked at my shoulder and saw the small mark. It had hurt, but it didn't anymore.

I went towards his face.
