Chapter 10

I awoke to a sharp pain in my neck. A red headed vampire boy was on top of me and there was something in his hands. It looked like a needle. Except it was empty.

I struggled to sit up and throw the vampire off of me. When I finally did this, I noticed Luke was not there. "Luke!" I screamed for him, but he did not come.

I realized this was a time to shift.

Only I couldn't shift.

There was something wrong with me. I couldn't shift. I screamed and flung myself towards the boy. I landed on him and yelled, " What did you do to me?"

He smiled as I clawed his face with my nails. I started to get dizzy and I fell to the ground. "I put you down, dog."

I felt my head hit the ground. I was numb all over I couldn't move. The boy lifted me up over his shoulder.

The last thing I saw was Lukes face in horror.

Then blackness.

I woke up in a darkend room tied to a bed, but thanks to my wolf vision I was able to see the poorly tied knot. I tried to sit up using my feet but my feet were tied too.

Suddenly, a man in a black tshirt and jeans walked in.

"You might as well quit," said the man. " The knots may be poorly tied, but its well guarded here. Even if you could get out, you wouldn't get far."

He came towards me and sat in the bed. I growled low from my throat. "Do you know why you're here?," he asked. I did nothing. He shrugged and continued," You're the only person to survive a vampires attack. It was lucky that a wolf found you and made you like them, or you would've died." I narrowed my eyes.

He got up and walked towards the door. His hand was on the handle when I spoke up. "Where am I?"

He looked back at me with his deep red eyes. "The vampire palace."
