Chapter 2

" Lezzy," screamed Joanna. "its time to get up and live your life" I giggled and got out of bed. Joanna was my best friend, i'd known her since I.first got here. She was a aburn-brown wolf.

I wasn't a wolf. I was human, so I was different from the other 'people' , if you can even call them that, in the pack. The wolves in the pack liked me, since they were the ones to find me. "Lezzy," Joanna yelled again. "Come on, your life is waiting!"

She could be so funny, if I was a morning person. I'm not.

Anyway I got ready for the day

I walked down the stairs, in my converse sneakers, light-blue jeans and a grey smiley face shirt, ready for the day.

"Hey, Lez, " said Trey. Another one of my besties. I smiled, still to tired to talk. He smiled back and gave me a morning hug. I hugged back, just to be polite, but i don't actually like him. He has a mate, so I can't like him.

Then, his mate,Hannah, stomps in, sees him hugging me, and play growls. "Trey," she says. " Shes not yours."

Trey looked at her surprisingly, like he didn't know she was there, but even I heard her coming. He let go of me and went to Hannah to take her hand. "Hey guys," I said.

I went into the kitchen to get breakfeast. "I had a weird dream last night," I announced.

"What kinda dream," asked Hannah. "Actually, It was weird enough to where I don't want to talk about it," I said. All 3 of my friends looked at me like I had two heads or something. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Fine, I'll tell you. "

I sat down at the table with my breakfeast. "I was running through the woods like I was being chased by something. "

"What were you being chased by?" asked Trey.  I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders. "I have no clue. Whayever it was made me cry, I was crying."

All of a sudden, a group of 4 wolves came in. Chase, John, Nickita, and Mali. I waved at them and started to eat my breakfeast. At them coming in, my friends walked off.

Chase came to me and asked what we were doing. "Talking about stuff," I admitted.He said ok and walked off.

" Alright friends," said John. " We got a new wolf member so lets welcome him. Luke." At the sound of his name, in came in a barechested man with dark blonde hair above his eyes. Oh his bright baby blue eyes matched his glowing tan that just… glowed.

While everyone else was shaking his hand ir clapping him on the back, all I did was stare. Then he looked at me.

I froze.
