Escape!

Chapter 11

The man, whose name was Jace, woke me up in the midst of night. "Get up! We need to leave!"

I blinked ,confused. "What," I said.  "Why are you helping me?"

"I'll tell you later,for now Lets go!"

I jumped out of bed and and realized he had loosened me. He led me down a hall that was stone bricks and bloody all over. We eventually got to a medical research lab.

He handed me a needle and told me to put my hand out. "What is it," I asked. "Its the antidote to the stuff that prevents you from shifting." He looked me in the eyes and I noticed his eyes were no longer red. They were normal.

That meant he wasn't a vampire.

"Your eyes! You aren't a vampire!" He shook his head no. " Contacts. Lets go."

I once again followed him out towards the front door which I could now see. From the corner of my eye, I see a brown vampire watching us. She throws a knife at me and it hits my mark. I yelp and rip the knife out.

I throw the knife back at the girl and it hits her heart. We finally got out the door and were running when I hear someone call my name.

And it sounded like Luke. I stop and start towards where he called from, which was slightly towards the left.

I shifted so I could talk to him.  'Luke, where are you? I heard you'

'  Leslie, Its so good to hear you, I'm towards your left. I can see you.'

I shifted towards my left and saw Luke. I broke into a run. He was a beautiful wolf. He was hard to miss.

' Lets go Leslie. Those vanpires must know you're gone, and that my friend Jace helped you.'

I couldn't believe it! He sent Jace to get me.

' Ok i'll race you home.'

And we ran all the way home.
