By the time dinner was ready, I still hadn't been done with what happened with Bailey. It was weird having him stalking me around everywhere. I walked into the eating area, and took my plate of food, a cup of water, silverware, and a napkin. As I got into the elevator to go to the roof, I noticed I was not alone. Again, Zoe and Nico were in the elevator. Surprisingly, Fenn was too. "Sooo, you decided to come?" I asked. "Yeah, sure. Do you want me to leave?" "No. It's fine, you can stay." Zoe giggled. "C'mon Paylor, what's wrong with you? You and Fenn make a nice couple! You should hear what Nico told me. He said that Fenn was completely red when he saw him. See, he likes you too!" Zoe couldn't take it any longer, so she burst out laughing. "No I didn't..." said Fenn, blushing. For the rest of the ride, the elevator was silent, except by the interruption of constant giggles by Zoe.

The elevator reached the rooftop, and everyone scattered to the tables. I speed-walked toward the table I had seen before. I tripped and fell, dropping my food. My glass crashed on the floor sending glass scattering everywhere. I yelped in pain. One big piece of glass had embedded itself in my hand when I had tried to get up. I heard footsteps. Fenn appeared from out of the bushes. "Are you okay?" he asked, gently helping me off the ground. He set me down a nearby bench.

"Wait here."

A few minutes later, he appeared back by my side with a first-aid kit. "Don't worry, I learned first-aid when I was studying for career." That made me worry even more. He got out the tweezers from the kit."It may hurt when I take the glass out of your hand." When he said a bit, I think he meant a lot. I writhed around and moved. It burned. Blood seeped from out of my palm. Fenn finally managed to take the glass out and wrap my hand in a bandage. He led me over to the table he was going to sit at. His food steamed. "It seems that we may have to share. Here, have half of my Filet Mignon. We will have to share the water and silverware." He handed me the fork, and he cut the piece of beef. The inside of it was pink. Flavor sinked into my mouth. My mouth drooled for more.

A few minutes later, there was nothing left on Fenn's plate. I stared at the plate wanting more, then realized that Fenn hadn't had a bite. We both started laughing. Then, I heard a voice, "So lovebirds, how's it going?" I turned my head to see Raven, all dressed in black. She was grinning from ear to ear then she said, " Hey Fenn, you can have some of mine, I brought extra." Fenn nodded graciously. I smile shyly then decide to go sit in the garden.

Walking over there from the corner of my eye, I see Nico trailing behind me. I turn over and smile, only to see that he is already smiling. We laugh.

On the elevator back down to my floor, I lean my head on Fenn's shoulder. My eyes start to flutter close. The elevator dings. "Well, this is where you get off!" says Fenn. I hug him and walk out of the elevator. Sighing happily, I walk over to my room, change and crawl into bed. I hear someone rapping on my door. I crawl out of bed and open the door, only to see Saturn, and she says, "I forgot, tomorrow you have your training and your interview." I gasp then say, " Okay, I'll get some rest, then we'll talk about it tomorrow." Saturn nodded then leaves. I close the door, then crawl into bed and slowly drift into sleep.

. . .

"Wake up, Wake up. Big day today!" Lily passed by my door knocking quickly and then moved onto Bailey.

I crawl out of bed then walk over to my dresser. I change my clothes then go over the table to eat breakfast. When I sit, I set my hand down hard on the table, remembering too late what had happened to my hand. I yelp in pain, attracting a lot of attention. "Is something wrong?" asked Bailey. "Not something that you would care." I answer, grimacing. He notices my hand in a bandage. He comes closer to me and says, "Look, Paylor. I know life is hard and it's never what you expect. But still, try to be nice. I know you've been through a lot by the last few days." He turns to walk away and then turns back to say, "If there is anything you have to tell me," he looks at my hand, "I'm right here and I can listen." He walks away, leaving time for me to think about what he said.

. . .

"Choosing your weapons are a big part of training." I hear Arceus say. "You, over there," He points at me. "What are you choosing?" "Oh, I already chose a long time ago." I pick up an axe and test its weight. "Try it out over there." Arceus points toward a closed in area. On a screen, I type in my name, district and weapon. The doors close. "...3, 2, 1, START" Holographs of people start coming toward me. I jam the axe in someone's head, run through the fake trees and stab someone through the back. I throw the axe like a boomerang. The doors slide open again, and I walk out calmly, and breathed heavily. Behind my back, I hold my hand in pain. Fenn smiled. He was saying something that was cut out by Bailey when he yelled, "THAT WAS AMAZING! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?" He came up to me and embraced me in a tight hug. "I'll show you how it's done, Paylor" Zoe said as she walked out from behind me. She wrote her name, district, and weapon on the screen. "3, 2, 1, START!"

Zoe climbed up a tree quickly, jumped down from the highest branch on top of one of the holographic people and stabbed her sword down it's head. Then she saw a person with a bow. She sprinted toward the person, hid behind a rock. And then decided to go of the cliff where the Cornucopia was. She did a double-front flip then was about to land on the ground, where she somersaulted, sliced a person and ran to get a backpack. At that moment, the practice was over. "So, how did you like that?" Zoe asked me. "What do you mean how did I like that? That was amazing!" I told her with my mouth open. "You have to be my ally." This training session is not like the old games, but instead of training you train with your personal weapon, and only your personal weapon. Your weapon can be anything. Camouflage. Swords. I miss Fenn session. When he comes, he greets me and says one word "Allies."
