Ch.8

*Haley's POV*

I woke up in my bed. I didn't remember what happened, or how I ended up in my bed. All I remember was Connor kissing Ivy. I looked around my room trying to figure out what happened, when I saw Connor sitting in the corner. He looked at me.

"Haley..." He said.

"Don't talk to me." I said crying. "Why are you even here? Get out," I screamed at him.

"Haley wait, I'm sorry. I can't believe I pushed you to do that."

"Do what?" I said, confused.

"You don't remember?"

He got up and started walking towards me. As he rolled up my sleeve, the memory started flooding back. I looked at the cuts on my wrist, and just cried. I looked up at him,

"Why do you even care? Nobody cares. I could've killed myself earlier, and you wouldn't care."

"Haley don't say that. I do care about you. I... I love you Haley." He said, and grabbed my hand.

I pulled my hand away, "If you loved me, you wouldn't have cheated on me with Ivy!"

"Haley I don't know what I was thinking, I just, please give me a second chance."

"No Connor."

"Haley." He said, almost crying. "Please listen to me. I'm sorry. You're the only one I want to be with. Ivy is out of the picture. After I realized the huge mistake I made, I broke up with her. She's no where near how amazing you are. You're beautiful, intelligent, talented, and I love you. Please give me a second chance."

"Connor, you better leave." I said, tears rushing down my face.

"Ok. I'm sorry Haley. I love you." And with that, he walked out the door. And possibly out of my life forever.

*Connor's POV*

I can't believe that just happened. I just lost the most amazing thing that ever happened to me. I caused her to self harm. I don't know why I ever dated Ivy. She's nothing compared to Haley. I ran into my house, and into my bedroom. I didn't know what to do. I'm still in shock that she would ever do that to herself, and knowing I played a part in it, was to much to handle. I got into bed, and fell asleep crying, knowing that I had lost Haley forever.
