I drove for a few hours, to one of my friends who I had met on the job. She also just happened to be someone who was brought back to life my an angel, but she has yet to find out who that was or why they brought her back. She also happened to be Jo Harvelle, one of Sam and Deans friends, who she hasn't told that she is back yet. I shot Sam and Dean a quick text just so they knew I was alive, and walked into the bar where she worked.

"Hey Jo, you won't believe the last couple weeks I've had," I said as I sat at my usual booth. I come in here a lot usually, since Jo is basically my best and only friend.

"Yeah I could tell by how you didn't respond to any of my texts. What happened? A big case?" She asked wiping down the tables as the bar was now closed.

"I actually have been staying with my brothers," I said waiting for her to yell at me.

"YOU WHAT?" She yelled just as I expected.

"They happened to find me when I was taking out that vamp nest, and then they just kinda didn't stop looking for me. They know we are related, but don't worry I didn't tell them you were alive," I said trying to calm her down.

"Ok, that's ok. Wait do they know you're here? I just, I'm not ready to face them, you know?" Jo said with a stressed look on her face.

"No they can't track me, I'm sure," I said with a smile, just as the door opened. I turned around and saw Sam and Dean burst in with guns.

"WHAT THE HELL GUYS PUT THE GUNS AWAY!" I yelled as Jo dashed into the back room, hoping they didn't see her. "How did you find me anyway?" I asked.

"We planted a tracker in your car when you came back," Sam said looking around.

"I'm an adult, you can't just keep treating me like a kid, like it or not you missed your chance there. Stop following me around like I'm a fugitive, I'm not," I said trying to lead them out the door and away from Jo.

"We can talk about that later, but who was that girl who ran in back?" Dean asked.

"Um just a friend, no big deal, let's get out of here," I said pushing them toward the door.

"We aren't leaving until she comes back out, considering she is the one you ran away from us to," Dean stated again.

"Dean, stop, you don't have to meet her, I'm coming back the bunker, all is well let's just go," I said pleading with them.

"No, Dean is right, get her out here," Sam said.

"Fine," I said as I made my way to the door to the back room," Jo I'm so sorry," I said looking in at her. Jo exited the room and Sam and Dean just stood there.

"Well, um, this is my friend Jo, I'm pretty sure you have met, um-" I began before I was cut off.

"How long have you been back?" Dean asked.

"About a year and a half, but no my mom isn't back too" Jo said not meeting Dean's eyes.

"So not only did you come back and not tell us, but you knew we had a sister and didn't tell us, Jo I just, I don't know what to say to you," Dean said tearing up a bit.

"Hey that is not fair. She needed time to re adjust Dean. She was in heaven, and now she is here, so she needed time," I said defending Jo.

"No you do not get to lecture me about coming back from the dead. She came back, and didn't tell us, that isn't ok Laura," Dean said.

"Just everyone shut the hell up. Jo, why didn't you come to us?" Sam asked trying to make eye contact, but Jo kept her eyes on the floor.

"I don't know, I just couldn't. I was trying to just be normal for a while I guess," Jo said shifting her weight back and forth.

"How the hell did you two even meet?" Dean asked looking at me.

"I was on a hunt in town, and Jo gave me a hand, and we just kind of clicked, and we have been best friends ever since," I said smiling a bit at the end.

"Ok we can talk about this later just Jo go get in the impala and we will take you to our bunker," Dean said sternly.

"No," Jo said finally meeting Deans eyes," I realize you guys are a bit shocked, but that doesn't mean I'm coming back to whatever your bunker is," Jo said

"Jo this isn't up for discussion come on," Dean said grabbing her arm.

"Dean, I said no. You don't control me, and if you want me to go to your bunker than I can drive with Laura," Jo said pulling her arm back.

"Fine, we can talk about everything later," Sam said pulling Dean out the door.

"Jo you don't have to come to the bunker if you don't want to. It's your life, "I saw reassuring her.

"Oh I know, we aren't. We are finding the tracker they put in your car, throwing it out, and you're going to drive me to the other side of the country," Jo said grabbing her stuff.

"Ok, but I'm not good with cars, and I have no idea where it would be," I said to her as we walked out and saw the Impala pulling out of the parking lot.

"I do, I'm pretty sure they would hide it right, here" Jo said as she pulled a blinking light out of the steering wheel. We then drove to a small town in Oklahoma, and Jo gave me her new phone number that we picked up on the way so they can't find her number.

"Jo are you sure? Sam and Dean really care about you and they just want to know that your safe," I said after I gave her a quick hug.

"Yeah I just need some time to figure out what to say to them, but when I do I'll call you first," Jo replied with a smile.

"Ok, take care of yourself, call if you need anything," I said with one last hug. I watched as she walked into the motel she was staying at and walked back to my car. I began to drive to the bunker when Sam called me.

"Ok Sam I don't know if I'm on speaker right now but if I am please take me off because I could do without Dean's judgmental comments right now," I said into the phone.

"Ok," he said as I heard a click," where are you Laura?" Sam asked concerned.

"You know I can't tell you, but I'm safe and on my way home," I said and there was a bit of an awkward silence after that," Sam?" I asked.

"You called the bunker home," Sam said and I could basically hear his smile.

"Sam, I know I've been a handful lately, but you know I love you right?" I said into the phone laughing a bit.

"Laura we love you too," Sam said back.

"Sam I definitely love you, but I'm still not sure about Dean, I think he sees me as a pest who he never wanted, but hey I have to go can't talk and drive," I said before he could say something about Dean.

"Wait Laura he-" Sam said and then I hung up.

I knew they were pissed, but I think Sam understands why I helped Jo. Dean on the other hand, I was going to get an earful from him.
