I grunted as I kicked the door shut behind me, causing a loud enough bang to be heard throughout the whole neighborhood. "Sweetheart, is that you?" My dad called.
"Yeah." I mumbled just enough to where he could hear me. I grunted once again as I began my very slow trudge up the stairs. I flopped onto my bed and started recapping this whole day. My mind felt as if where about to explode! I really needed to go out, plus it was a Friday night and I missed my best friends attention. We had been testing and piled up with so much homework that we didn't have time for each other. I rolled off my bed in a heap attempting to grab my phone off my desk but failed miserably landing with a thud on the floor. Once I managed to get my phone I called Abbi. She answered on the third ring just as I was about to give up. " heeeelo." she sang causing me to wince. I loved her, but the girl couldn't sing for her life, " We need to go out , I miss you and Its been forever." I whined.
" Okay! I know what we can do, there's a new movie out and i'm dying to see it, plus I really miss eating popcorn every Friday night with you."
"Okay, see you at my house in fifteen." and with that I hung up the phone.
I sighed as I lifted myself off the floor and headed towards the shower. I pulled my long brown hair out of its ponytail and let it flow to my mid back. I began stripping as I heard a soft knocking at the door.
" Sweetheart, I'm going out and wont be back until tomorrow afternoon. If you're going out don't forget to lock the doors and be safe, love you." my dad said. My parents were usually always out and didn't mind me having freedom , which was perfect.
"Love you too."
As soon as I heard the sound of footsteps retreating I sighed and got into the shower letting the warm water soothe me and take away all the stress from today.
After the shower I walked back towards my room but stopped right in my tracks once I saw James sitting on my bed. I gasped and held back a scream.
" How the hell did you get in here, and what are you doing." I cried tightening the grip of the towel around my body.
"Relax." he replied coolly, "I come in peace." he held up his hands in the air making a symbol.
I scoffed,"You think this is a game, how the hell did you get in here?!?"
"You know you should really learn how to lock your windows." he stated.
" You didn't answer my other question, why are you here?" I answered through gritted teeth. Seriously who did he think he was showing up in my bedroom while I was in the shower. I really wanted to slam his face in a car door right about now.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you, and It seems I came at the right time." He winked causing me to blush and remember I was only wearing a towel.
"I'd really like it you leave and not talk to me ever again." I said even though it was a lie. I didn't want him to leave in fact I didn't care if he stayed.
He was wearing some semi new looking vans in a fitted t-shirt followed by some fitted jeans. His hair looked good, perfect even, somewhat messy yet defined. I couldn't help but eyeing him. I got cut off by him clearing his throat which earned a glare from me.
" L-leave." I stuttered. Wow, nice try.
"Your mouth says one thing but your body says another." He whispered in my ear. How did he get there so fast. I couldn't help turning around and staring at his lips. I wanted to kiss him but I quickly snapped out of it.
"Leave now, before I call my dad up here." I lied knowing good and well my dad left thirty minutes ago.
" Your dad left a good half hour ago. I'm not dumb ." He laughed before grabbing my towel and pulling it down just a little causing my cleavage to show. I gasped and turned red. I quickly pulled it back up just as fast as it had came down. I looked back up to start a profanity fit when I saw he wasn't there.
" Looking for me sweetheart?" he called.
I turned around to see he was out the window. "No i'm not, but since you're out there do me a favor and leave!" I stomped over to the window just as he jumped. When I looked around there was no sign of him and I let out a breath I didn't realize I had been holding. Making sure to lock the windows this time I began to get ready for some fun, away from lunatics.
