Groaning i threw my bags into the back of the car. Beck wasn't kidding when he said we would have to relocate. I just hope it's somewhere nice. I turned my head to the already familiar sound of the creaking door closing.
" So this is it, huh?" I asked James after he made sure the door was locked. He passed by me nodding his head in confirmation. Beck was already in the car and i slumped down into the passenger seat. Not long after James joined me in the front. I watched as the beautiful landscape before me slowly disappeared. I let out a sigh, i'm really going to miss this place. Speaking of missing things, i have yet to hear from my ' parents'. I tried multiple times calling them but they never answered the phone. I needed someone to confirm that all of this bullshit that has been happening isnt real. James and Beck wont answer any of my questions about them and its starting to make me feel like this whole time they've been feeding me lies. Closing my eyes i fell into a deep slumber that has been calling my name for the past hour.
James POV
i looked over Kat and a small smile formed on my face. She's so adorable when she's asleep, and im glad she's mine. Is she? We never sealed the deal and lately there has been less and less contact between us. She had a little trail of drool running from her mouth and it made her look even cuter than before. Beck had finally woken up and cleared his throat behind me.
" Man your really whipped. Keep your eyes on the road before we have a wreck." He snickered.
I threw my middle finger up to him and turned back around averting my eyes on the road.
Kat POV
I opened my eyes and sat up in the cramped car doing my best to stretch my legs. Beck was asleep and James didn't even spare me a glance. We were on a long stretch of road that seemed to never end.
" When are you going to tell me where we're going?" I whined
" When we get there." He said with a 'duh' tone rolling his eyes.
I slumped back in my seat now in a irritated mood. Fixing my eyes on the road i looked at the land filled with nothing but grass. I wonder how long i had been sleeping.
James POV
I sneaked a peek at Kat when she wasn't looking and saw her gazed fixed curiously out at the land filled with nothing. I heard sounds of tires screeching nearby and my brain switched to panic mode. I looked in the rear view mirror and a black mustang was speeding towards us in the distance. That was the last thing i remembered before the car we were in swerved off the long stretch of road and flipped over.
