" James! Beck! What the hell is going on?!?" I cried
James shushed me as he pushed me farther underneath the bed before jumping out the side of the window.
I cried silently to myself while trying to hold in a sneeze because of all the goddamn dust bunnies. Was this really happening. What if Beck actually died this time. I pushed those thoughts from my head and slowly crawled from under the bed, making my way to the window seal peering out.
There is a good chance that James is gonna kill me for leaving the very uncomfortable position i was in under the bed but right now i don't give a damn. Besides i feel like i'm missing a very big piece to this whole puzzle. It seems as if no ones telling me anything and they're all going behind my back hiding all these secrets. I don't like it at all. I looked out the window only to find a cloud of fog encircling the house.
There was no sound, no nothing, just fog. I swear when I find James, he has some serious explaining to do. I don't know what came over me but without thinking i jumped out of the window and landed gracefully on my feet.
The crunchy ground was now completely covered in sand. The soft warm feeling of the nice squishyness covered my bare feet. Averting my attention to crash coming from the woods, i slowly climbed up the nearest coconut tree and awaited for someone to pass by.
" Where the hell is she?" Yelled a furious looking Marcus.
He was currently holding James and Beck with both of his hands. He gripped their ears harder as the guys just managed to grunt. He stopped just below the tree i was in and now was the moment of truth. I looked around and saw a coconut not far from where i was perched. Now if i could just reach the damned thing. I slowly started climbing higher and higher till i managed to grab it. I nearly fell pulling it from its place. I mentally did a happy dance to myself as i climbed back down to the exact spot just above Marcus. I braced myself and put my coconut filled hands above my head ready to hit Marcus square in the forehead. I'm surprised that neither Beck or James had noticed my new arrangement at the top of the tree. But i mean with a ninja as good as me i wouldn't be surprised if they never found out.
I lurched the coconut forward but before i could process what was happening i was flown out of the tree. Goddamn it i fucking forgot to let go of the damn coconut. The little swearing rant that was happening in my head quickly died down when i realized Marcus had cushioned my fall. Not on purpose though. His face full of pain. Did i really weigh that much? He could of at least tried to not offend me considering im the ninja who can kick his ass. I only just now realized that the coconut had flown from my hand on the decent down. I wonder where it landed. Well that is until i heard a soft groan come from my right.
" Really Kat, i thought we were on the same team." Beck grunted as he cupped his forhead.
" Well obviously she's not on our side considering she's straddling the enemy." James stated with annoyance clear in his voice.
I looked down just now seeing our position. Ehh, i don't really care if James gets mad anymore, he can suck it.
Staring at Marcus whose eyes closed from pain. I poked his cheek repeatedly.
" Are you dead?" I asked.
" No i'm not dead but i will soon if you don't get off of me." He grunted.
My mouth threatened to snicker but i held it in, seeing as it probably wasnt the best time.
" Well in that case, you can die." I huffed now irritated.
Before i could respond he dissapeared. I looked around and found Becks eyes locked with mine.
" Well i guess it's time to relocate." He sighed.
