We had stopped riding the bike and were now sitting in some shade trying to get a hold of Nate. Not to my surprise, I was the one more worried about Nate then Sam was... surprising right?

"If he's dead your screwed," I said getting up and pacing. Sam chuckled, I looked over at him and raised an eye brow. "What's so funny?"

"The fact that you doubt my brother. Come on Bryllee, you and me both know he'll be fine," he said grabbing the canteen from the side of his belt opposite of where the radio was clipped.

"Yea, but what if he's not? We both also know that he has a habit of getting himself in trouble," I replied eyeing the water. He saw me looking and gave me the canteen.

"Yes, but he'll let us know if he needs help," he said now laying down with his eyes closed. I looked at him and watched as the sweat that was glistening on his tan face slowly ran down his cheek. I walked over to him and put the canteen on his side and laid next him, there was still and good four inches in between us. I closed my eyes and my mind began to race, it was hard to think of one thing when you ha the blazing sun beating down on you.

"Sam? Bryllee? Anyone there?" Asked a static voice from the radio. We both sot u at once and Sam grabbed the radio.

"Nate? We're here," Sam said looking at me then around us.

"Thank god, thought I'd never get signal," Nate replied.

"Well we're glad you did," I said over Sam's shoulder.

"Yea, well we should probably get together again. Look around and tell me if you see a big mountain anywhere, it shouldn't be too hard to see being it's huge and it looks like a spade," Nate said again. I began to look around and I spotted it, Sam obviously did too as he as already up and handed me the radio.

" Yea, we see it, Nate. Meet you at the top?" I asked.

"Perfect, see you guys soon," Nate said leaving in a panicked rush. I assumed maybe he had just seen some people from Articneer. I handed the radio back to Sam who was now sitting on the bike.

"We'll take this as far as we can, and then we'll walk," Sam said. I nodded in agreement and got on the back.

"It's not gonna be a lot of riding the bike considering we're this close to the mountain," I said. Before Sam could respond we were off with a jolt.

The ride wasn't very long like I guessed, but when we were on the bike it as pretty nice. The wind blew around us and I trusted Sam a lot more than I should have, but it was fine. We soon got off and hide the bike behind a bush.

"We'll walk from here," Sam said. I already knew that considering I basically already informed him about this.

"I know that, I already told you this," I told him as we began to walk. It wouldn't be too bad of a walk because the mountain wasn't huge.

"Well I'm just reminding you," Sam had a grin. Dunno why but there' a lot about him lately I don't know what to think of, like the conversation on the plane.

"You do realize I was awake on the plane, right?" I asked looking at Sam. His grin disappeared and he had a strange face on. "Didn't hear much, and I definitely didn't understand it at all."

"Well it wasn't anything special I guess, just needed to talk to Nate," He aid. His tone had become more monotone now and his shoulders were definitely stiffer.

"You really don't need to be worried bout me hearing something, I'm not gonna tell anyone or judge," I said trying to help.

"Sorry kid, but I rather not talk about this," Sam said.
