The flight to Columbia wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Sam and I sat in the two seats in the row closest to the window, Nate, Elena, and Sully sat in the three seat row in the middle of the plane. Sam did poke me when I tried to sleep but I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep anyways. He also tried to tickle me in the small room there was. Beside the pestering, we also played a game of go-fish, and memory. Both were childish games, except both of us have slightly childish personalities. I told Elena why I left and she kept trying to convince me to just be with Sam, but I don't know if I'm actually ready for a relationship. I know we act like we are in a relationship, but we aren't, it's hard to explain.
Now we're in Columbia in the hotel Sam, Sully, and I are sharing. Nate and Elena got here own hotel. The sleeping arrangements weren't too complicated, Sully got one of the beds to himself, and Sam and I switched off who'd sleep in the bed and on the couch. Now we were once again strapping our holsters on and gearing up on ammo and guns. We were taking precautions now because Nate and Sam spotted the guy that almost pushed me off the cliff. He was obviously gonna want to finish the work he started when he saw me.
"Do we really need to bring a hunting knife?" I asked as I saw Sam clip it to his belt.
"Yea, if I see the bastard I'm gonna cut him to pieces and feed him to dogs," Sam said. I understand why he's mad, but does he need to be that violent about the situation?
"isn't that going a little far, Sam" Sully asked as he bent down to pick up the shot gun shell he dropped.
"Absolutely not."
"It's a little extreme," I said walking over to the full length mirror so I could put my hair in the usual pony tail.
"Fine, I'll keep it here," Sam said tossing it onto the bed. I smirked at him and he stuck his tongue out, see, childish. I stuck mine out back at him.
"Come on you two, we need to go, Nate and Elena are already waiting in the lobby," Sully said walking to the door and opening it for Sam and I. I walked over to the dresser and grabbed my hand gun then exited the room. Once we were all out we went to the lobby to find Nate and Elena waiting indeed.
"Finally," Nate said. "Which one of you is the reason for the delay?"
"Sorry," I said shrugging.
"Well lets hurry up now, I want to find that cavern before Artic finds it," Nate said walking to the exit with Elena by his side.
"Cavern?" I asked Sam who was on my left.
"Yea, after you left we found a small box hidden in a tiny cave underneath the Spaded Mountain. Inside was an old drawing of the cavern and the treasure," Sam said pulling two pieces of paper out of his back pocket. He looked at both of them then handed me the older and yellower looking one. He kept the other one out and unfolded and smiled at it.
"What's that?" I asked looking at the map but referencing to the paper in his hand.
"Nothing," He said quickly putting the paper back in his pocket.
"Fine. So you're positive this is a cavern in Columbia?" I asked handing him the paper.
"Positive, the name of the cavern is etched on the back and when we looked it up it led us to here," Sam said. "But before coming here, we decided to pick up a couple things."
"And here I am," I said.
We were now in the car driving to the cavern, it was pretty far from the city we were currently in, but we have time. The ride was silent as usual, the only noise being Nate and Elena in the front, Sully on the right side window, Sam in the middle, and me on the other window seat. I didn't get much sleep the previous night so I decided to sleep the rest of the drive.
