Megan Watson's POV

The next few days seemed to go by in a blur. When I was released from hospital, Holly still wasn't well enough to leave, so Niall and I visited her plenty of times, because I couldn't seem to be away from her out of worry that something would happen to her while I was gone.

She was getting better, thank god, and I couldn't wait until the day she would be allowed home.

When that day actually came, Niall and I were both in great moods. We couldn't stop smiling and laughing, just like the day we both first held her.

There wasn't any doubt in my mind that Holly was Niall's kid - I just knew she was Niall's, but when I saw how blue her eyes were, for me, that was just complete confirmation that she was Niall's child, but I always knew she was anyway.

When we first brought Holly home, Niall was grinning like an idiot and would constantly want to hold her. He was honestly such an adorable dad and the smile on his face when he looked at Holly in his arms was so genuine and happy that it made me want to cry. I loved Niall more than words could describe, and now that we had a child together, everything seemed perfect.

"Meg, wake up, babe," Niall's voice caused my eyes to open and my tired limbs to stretch naturally.

I furrowed my eyebrows and sat up to see I was on the couch, a thin blanket laid on top of my body. Niall was sat at the edge of the couch, looking down at me, and Holly wasn't anywhere in sight.

"Where's --"

"Upstairs. She fell asleep," Niall told me, knowing I was asking about Holly.

"Oh." I nodded my head and then yawned. "What time is it?"

"Three in the afternoon. You've been asleep for two hours."

I frowned. I hadn't been getting much sleep at all recently, because it seemed like whenever I fell asleep at night, Holly would wake up crying the exact same moment. Although Niall and I took turns on who would hold her and try and get her back to sleep, I still woke up every time she started crying. Because my sleep was very limited now, I would often end up falling asleep at random times during the day.

"What'd you wake me up for?" I asked in a slight groan, running a hand through my hair as I sat up. I rubbed at my eyes tiredly, and just as Niall was about to answer, the sound of Holly crying came through the baby monitor beside the couch.

I groaned again, rubbing my forehead stressfully. "Niall, will you please get her? I need a shower."

"Alright," he said with a weak smile. He leaned over and pressed a kiss to my forehead before he left and went upstairs. I sat there for a few minutes while I woke myself up a little bit, and then went upstairs to take a shower.

I felt much more refreshed after the shower, and a lot more awake. After putting on a blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up just past my elbows along with a pair of jeans and converse, I dried my hair and went downstairs to Niall.

Holly had been born three weeks ago today, but had only been home for eleven days. Despite the fact she had been born weeks ago, it was still the weirdest thing ever that she was my daughter. I was only just recently twenty three, and Niall was twenty four, so we were both quite young to be parents, but it felt surprisingly right. Although when I first found out I was pregnant I wasn't happy at all and spent days crying over it, now I wouldn't have it any other way. If it weren't for Holly, Niall and I probably wouldn't have gotten back together, so I felt like everything was meant to be.

"Here," I breathed out, holding my hands out to take Holly out of Niall's arms. After just over half an hour of holding her and trying to keep her happy, Niall had a suggestion.
