Epilogue

By the time the project was finished, and the Pen Pals were all done, Dan and Phil got a good mark on their project.

Dan and Phil were also not the only people who found out who their pen pal was before the project was done. Many people did actually, as predicted.

And when school let out for the summer, Dan and Phil continued to have sleepovers in Phil's tree house. The tree house was also fixed up and is now a super cool hangout.

Dan has all much of a liking for Phil's birds as well. Phil sometimes has a fear that the birds like Dan more. Or maybe that Dan will steal the birds. Phil will have to keep an eye on that Dan about that.

The names Emo Coffee Eyes and Bubble Blue Eyes have not at all been forgotten, and they commonly refer to each other by those names.

PJ has taken all the credit to himself for Dan and Phil's relationship, because he told Dan that Phil liked him. Also Phil is still pretty salty about that, but Dan just finds it funny. Phil is a bit more careful about what he tells to PJ.

Dan has been pretty much forgiven by the while school for all the bad things he's done. He was suffering in his family life, and that hasn't changed too much, but now with Phil he has a better support system in place. Dan no longer feels the need to bully people.

Both Dan and Phil are very happy together and are looking forward to the summer ahead of them. They are thinking about going on a short vacation together, but they aren't sure yet. Really they don't mind what they do as long as it's together, because to them, that's all that matters.

Dan and Phil both take art classes on the weekends, due to their passion for the subject. Mostly realism and sculpting, but none the less, they find it fun because they're together. In this art class, Phil helped a girl in the art class, named Rosa, discover that she liked girls, and that was an okay thing to do. Dan helped a boy named Luke discover that she was a girl named Lana.

Both Dan and Phil feel like they're actually making an impact on the world.

Phil found the courage to tell his mum that he likes boys and girls. She took it well, although slightly confused about the whole thing.

"Bubbly Blue Eyes!"

"Emo Coffee Eyes?" Phil winked at Dan and Dan rolled his eyes.

"Never do that again," Dan said, pretending to throw up in his mouth.

"So, about that vacation..."

"Found anywhere interesting?"

"Well, I found an LGBTQ+ youth camp that we could be a camper for a month at. I also found an art camp, that last two months. And an astronomy course for 2 weeks in July... I can't choose, Dan!"

"Neither can I, they sound all so fun!"

Phil's eyes widened as he got an idea.

"Hey... Who says we have to chose?! I think they all fall separately, or close to it!"

"No way!" Dan exclaimed, as Phil nodded his head.

"Hey, we can finally get a life this summer!" Dan said, laughing.

"I'm so glad I met you, and have all these chances to just live, you know?"

"I do, you know, if it weren't for you, I'd most likely still be a nerd in the corner with no friends."

"Well, now you can be the nerd in the corner with one friend! Well, PJ is your friend, too." 

"Yeah, but he's not my boyfriend, you know I outta thank him someday for telling you I like you... someday, but that day is not today, my friend."

"Oh, Phil, what will I ever do with you...?" Dan and Phil's laughed mixed as the sun beat down over the green grass and the smiley boys, and they finally realized that they were truly, really were,

Two of a kind.

AHHHHH THIS HAS BEEN SO FUN WRITING THIS!!! I'm pretty sad it's over, but this will be one of my favorite wattpad memories, by far <3 I'd like to thank everyone for this amazing opportunity once again, ily guys!!! Remember you guys can always DM me, I'll be here!

Oh boy I can believe this is it! I'm so sad! This story was so different from all my other ones, and I loved every second of it!
