Chapter 7

Jaiden holds me close in his arms while we sit in our pent house on the 12th floor of the training center.

"What if I do live what will happen? What if u die and I live what will happen? what will I do?" I ask him while we watch past games on the tv.

"Your going to live an be happy back at home with your family even I do die I will die saving you." he says with a kiss on the four head.

After the kiss I just ask him the question that's burning inside me.

"So are we like.......whats going on between us?"

"Well Haymitch said tell them during the interview but don't attempt it like Peeta did. Just have to say that 'Brenna is the love of my life and I every moment I'm without her it breaks my heart cuz I volunteered to save her. And she saved her best friends life so I couldn't let her die or live or fight with out me' so I guess we are a couple but if they ask I'm suppose to say no cuz I think she has feelings for a boy back home." He says the last part with a laugh and then pulls me in closer. I do have feelings for a boy back home. Nick but I don't know exactly what those feelings are. I try to forget it.

"Ohhh." I say with a laugh. Maybe he isn't that bad after all. Then he sits up and I face him.

"Alright what is our plan?" He asks

"Our plan for what?" I ask confused.

"The arena." What are we going to do. "Well Katniss has guessed that they will use a section from where the war took place in the Capitol. So that means not to many trees. It means buildings so that means people's house that are filled with food extra clothing and all that stuff. But it also means it's easier to be found and killed." He looks at me

"So since we are going in loaded we don't need to make any really special stops at the cornucopia. So we have first pick on our hide outs. What do you suggest?" I think.

"We will travel far from the center where the cornucopia will be located. Once I think we are close to the end I will throw a knife to test it out. After that I will determine the best hideout but we have to make it look like nobody was there or is there. Once the game makers see our plan they will either blow us up or force u towards another tributes. We have to be armed and ready at all times. Katniss said se would throw in a back pack but it would be an inflatable one so we have to wait to blow it up. Then once we find food and water we will fill it up. You and I will each have our own. Once we are ready to travel we will have to travel either underground or on the rooftops. And then kill people from above."

"Smart. Really how do you know all this?" he asks

"I used to scale the alley. Climb from pipe to pipe or whatever would help get me to the roof top and then when no one was on the streets I would shoot at rocks and other objects below. I used to see you walk home from school everyday. You would look up but never see me but I would see you."

"Really......wow" he says shocked. "So basically in training I need to work on my climbing skills and my knife skills."

"Ya...... let's go it's show time." I say with a laugh and then he pulls me in to a hug and kisses my forehead. "I love you.....forever.." he murmured and then we walk. He doesn't say anything when I don't respond he just keeps his arm around me as we walk out. Do I love him? Do I love Nick. Well Nick thinks I'm basically dead so why should I love him.

Jaiden and I walk out to the dinning room and find Haymitch.

"I thought I would be done coming to this place for good after the war but here I am again watching two 14year olds die." Then takes a sip of his liquor. We walk down towards him Jaiden calm but angered and me well I'm full forced about ready to pounce.

"Oh didn't see you two there..." he says..." so here is my question... are you two really 'in love' or are you just trying to get sponsors and win the games since you are the youngest?" I look him dead in the eye....

"Why do you care your life isn't on the line. You already played your games, and won with Katniss and Peeta, you were in on the rebellion why would you care about what happens with us. Your train ride finally ended why would you come back?" I say angered.

"I came back to save your life's cuz guess what they don't know what the hell there doing....and hopefully your smarter than she was and won't start uprisings and war and a reason to be killed again. Your being given a great opportunity an 12 actually has a chance of winning cuz Katniss got to know all the info of the arena and your going in loaded be great full. She could have said screw them and thrown you guys in there and said all I can tell you is to stay alive but cuz of me you have an opportunity." He says this with power.

"Just cuz we are granted all this stuff doesn't mean we will win. We are just becoming teens and we are trying to fight for our life's." I say

"My question now to the boy...'Do you really love her?' or is it fake huh?" I look at Jaiden. He is silent and stressed but he manages and answer.........

"I love her and always have and will love her until forever." he doesn't look at me he looks straight forward his arm isn't around me anymore there down my his sides his hands clenched in fist.

Haymitch walks up real close to his face and says "you don't love her or else you would be finding away to call off the games. You don't love cuz if you did you would be praising every second with her. Don't tell them a lie during the interview. They can sniff it out anywhere." after that Haymitch walks away with a smirk. Jaiden walks away in the opposite direction and punches the wall. I stand there in the empty dinning room alone. Maybe he should t lie to me at least. Cuz it's going to be me the one heart broken not any of them. I head down to the dressing room and get ready for the tribute parade. Hopefully once I'm dead no one will have the stress on there shoulders anymore about who likes who cuz since the last games we won't be able to top any of that.
