Memories of the Past 2

Meg's POV

It was a very good surprise for Zhianne or Lheigh. Lheigh is her real nickname. We don't call her that because we are not used to call her Lheigh. No one calls her Zhianne except us. Even our security guards don't know our names but they only refer us as their Young Ladies. 

We are even forbidden to speak our names in front of them well, we sometimes forget to do that. 

Ganun ka strict sa amin. Nakakasakal siya, at hindi ko na mabilang kung iilang beses ko ng binalak na maglayas, pero di ko magawa. 

Hindi dahil sa di ko kaya.. Siguro nga, di ko kaya.... Di ko alam...

“Aren’t you ready yet, Rebecca? " Tinatawag na ako ng mommy ko... Aalis kasi kami papuntang Bali, Indonesia for our one-week vacation. 

" I am coming, mommy..." sabi ko habang tumatayo na ako mula sa pagkakaupo ko sa kama... 

Kanina lang sila dumating at ang alis namin ay mamayang 5 pm.... We still have 2 hours left to prepare. Paano ba naman kasi ay pabigla-bigla kung magdesisyon tong mga to.. Para bang pagmamay-ari nila ang buong mundo... Hmm, parang ganun na din yun... Yun nga lang, mundo ng mga Mafia.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at pumunta sa sala. Andoon na sila lahat at mukhang ako na lang ang hinihintay..

OOPs.... Sorry... heheh

Matagal talaga ako magbihis eh...

"Ready??" Tanong ng daddy ni Cindy.

"Yes! " halos nag chorus pa kami sa pagsagot. Super excited kami dahil ito ata ang pinakamatagal na bakasyon na pwede naming ma-experience.

Sumakay na kami sa van namin... Di lang namin inaasahan na doon din sasakay ang mga parents namin. Usually kasi, sa ibang van sila sasakay para if ever man na may mangyari, at least, hindi kami madadamay...

" You are riding with us? " tanong ko sa kanila. 

They just smiled at us and we smiled back.

Pinaandar na ang van papunta sa airport kung saan andoon ang private plane namin. 

This would be nice!

REISHA'S POV

Nasa van kami... Medyo matraffic kaya natagalan kami sa EDSA...

Panay ang kwentuhan namin. It was like a big family. In these times, I feel like we are not part of the MAfia world. I feel like we are just normal happy family with a well off living and well, I guess, this is perfect.

But... Like they say, nothing is perfect....

Even if this is not a perfect family, at least we are all happy...

Alam namin, may mga pagkukulang ang mga magulang namin sa amin, pero kahit nga ganoon, medyo kahit papaano, naiintindihan namin... This is our world after all..

There would be times that I start to hate them... All four of us went in that stage...

We always thought that we are not loved and that we are just being treated like a puppet that will follow their orders and be the perfect daughters. To hell with that!
