After Giovanni left for work I slumped down on the couch and flipped through the channels. Of course he would say that. Giovanni loves being sarcastic, horrible, and a dream crusher. Wait. If he was a dream crusher wouldn’t that mean he depleted every chance of us dating? Meaning I wanted to date him? No, no, no! I’m a fully heterosexual man that had a handjob… from… a… guy….

I reached for my phone, in my back pocket, and found a text message from a stranger. I opened the text and read the message a loud. Turns out it was from Alyssa. She got my number from Taylor about a week ago and finally texted me. I wondered how Taylor got a hold of my phone, since I haven’t given anybody my phone number besides my own mother and Lacy! I decided not to push it and ask questions.

6:10 PM Taylor –Hey there John! <3
Hehe! You must be wondering how I got ahold of your phone number! Well, all llllll the credit goes to Alyssa! She’s a sneaky fox! *Rawr* <3 Hehe! Well, I must be your first friend text, right? Besides your mum and your girlfriend? Hehe, you probably thought I didn’t remember! <3
Hehe! Well I remembered! Hehe! So please let’s text and be friends! And if its’ okay, I’d love to give Alyssa your number! Then we can all be close friends! Hehe! <3
6:11 PM John –Haha, I see, well I’d be fine with giving you giving Alyssa my number. And yes you would be the first to text me besides my mother and my girlfriend! Oh how dorky does that sound? Pretty dorky I suppose. (: Oh well. Anyways I am surprised you remember! I am also honored you did. So yes, let us “text” … Please give me instructions on how to do so?
6:11 PM Taylor –There are no “real” directions on when to text someone! You just do! <3
6:13 PM John –Well, any guidelines I mean?
6:13 PM Taylor –Nope, <3 just text someone whenever you want to! Ask them, you’re friends, if they’re okay or how they’re doing. What they’re doing. <3 Or even to tell them something random! Hehe!

6:15 PM Taylor –Hehe no problem John! Say, what are you going to do today?
6:16 PM John –Nothing sadly ):. I was turned down for a job and I won’t be able to have enough money to payback Giovanni in a few days! I’ll have to dip into my savings account to pay for the rent. I mean, I have some extra cash on the side that’ll probably be okay for a bit. But after that I’ll have to go into the savings account idea. ):
6:17 PM Taylor –Oh no! That’s so sad! </3
6:18 PM John –Yeah… it is very much so sad…
6:18 PM Taylor –But I might be able to turn that frown upside down! <3
6:19 PM John –What do you mean?
6:20 PM Taylor –My uncle owns this really weird restaurant! He needs help with stocking and taking care of customers! It pays a good amount of cash! I think it would be a good job for you! What do you say John? Are you up for it? <3 Plus the first job you wanted to get was a waiter right? <3
6:20 PM John –Oh wow seriously! That’s awesome! When can I sign up?
6:21 PM Taylor –My uncle will take anyone right now! Plus with his favorite niece’s recommendation you’re a shoe in!
