Love Drunk

Okay it's short but the next chapter is going to be quite a long one. I hope you all like it! Please comment!!

I heard the water splashing violently behind me and Jack, Alex, Zack and Rian yelling at me. I came to the end of the pool and got out. 

“Oh no you don’t!” Alex said and the pulled me back into the water before jumping on my back. He rested him head on my shoulder. 

“Awww!” Rian exclaimed. Alex and I stared him for a while. “Sorry, it’s just so cute!” 

“It’s like we’re in high school again!” Jack added. 

“God! Give it a rest!” Zack said getting out of the pool and storming back to his room. Alex got off of my back.

“Is Zack okay? He’s been acting really weird lately.” I asked Alex. 

Alex didn’t reply, he just looked at Rian and Jack. We all got out of the pool and went back to our rooms. Rian, Jack and Alex went to go talk to Zack when we got back to our floor. I got into my Mickey Mouse pyjamas. When Alex came back into our room, he looked concerned. He sat on the bed.

“Sweetie what’s wrong?” I asked him.

“Oh don’t worry; baby?” 

“Yeah.”

“Can I.... can I ask... ask you something?” Alex said blushing slightly.

“Sure sweetie, what is it?”

Alex stood in front of me and held my hands.

“Well before I ask I want to tell you something. You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. Whenever I see you, you bright up my day. You’re the most perfect girl in the world and I never want to lose you to someone else. Without you in my life I don’t know what I’d do,”

“Aww Alex!”

“So to get to what I wanted to ask you,” Alex pulled out a black velvet box and got down on one knee. “Alice Merrick, will you marry me?”

“OH MY GOD ALEX YES!” I pretty much yelled at him. He slipped the small diamond ring on my finger. The diamond was in the shape of a star. It was perfect! After he slipped it onto my finger and got up, I jumped into Alex’s arms.

“Can we come in now?” Jack’s voice came from outside the hotel door. 

“We’re dying out here,” said Zack. 

Alex let Rian, Zack and Jack in. They all congratulated Alex and I. 

“Wait hold on, Zack you were acting really weird to us,”

“Yeah well, honey, they all knew about me wanting to propose. Actually Zack helped me pick out the ring and pushed me to do it.”

“Aww! I love you big bro!” I hugged Zack. 

“Oh and uhh I also you’ll get a surprise at one of our Cambridge shows. Don’t worry though it’ll all be fine.”

“Okay Alex, I trust you, but I’m really tired and we’ve got a lot to do tomorrow so I’m gonna go to bed.”

We all said goodnight and then went to our separate rooms.

“Night Alex, I love you,” I said settling down to sleep.

“I love you to Mrs Gaskarth!” Alex said before kissing my forehead.

“My ship went down in a sea of sound, when I woke up alone I had everything. A handful of moments I wish I could change,” Alex lulled me to sleep with his beautiful singing voice. He sung me ‘Therapy’. Its always been a favourite song of mine. And by the end of the first chorus I was fast asleep, well according to Alex.
