I'm sitting in my house on the couch when I hear a car pull into a gravel parking lot. I found it a little odd sense all our neighbors are working at this time. So I turn around on the couch deciding to be a little nosey and peep through the window. There was a truck I didn't recognize in the parking lot in the house in front of us. "Hmmmm I guess somebody's moving in across the street." Suddenly the two passengers doors open spontaneously.
A guy was the first to step out of the truck and close the door. He looked to been in his late twenties to early thirties. "How intriguing I wonder who he's and maybe even what he is?" Then suddenly the most beautiful girl I have ever seen jumped down from the truck. She had to be at least seventeen years old. She had long black hair, the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever saw in my life, high cheek bones, light pink kissable lips, and the most beautiful smile on her face as she looked at the house. Suddenly she looked right at my house and I quickly close the curtain before she can see me.
For some weird reason my heart is pounding inside my chest. I place my hand over my beating heart. I have never felt like this before I wonder what the heck is going on with me. I open the curtain and peek outside once again to see that they're getting ready to start getting things out of the truck to carry inside. My eyes get wide and I run up the stairs to my room and change into a black t-shirt that shows off my muscles, black jeans, and my black combat boots. I fix my black hair then I check how I look in the mirror. My green eyes sparkled back at me in the mirror causing me to smile. Then I rush downstairs and shout "Hey mom I'll be back later." Then she shouted "Okay just don't be out too late." I then walked out the door not wanting to seem too eager. Then I walk across the street just as the guy who I am assuming is her father came out of the house.
He walks over to me so he's directly in front of me. I stick out my hand for a hand shake "Hi I'm Alec James Harrison." He took my hand and shook it "I'm Justin Fairchild. I just moved here with my daughter Jamie."
"So her name is Jamie, it fits her pretty good. That's nice to know." I smiled "It's nice to meet you I actually live in the house across from you guys. I figured I'd come and introduce myself." He nodded "That's very nice of you. So how old are you young man?" I chuckled "I'm eighteen and in my last year of high school, sir." He smiled "So you're just a year older than Jamie although you're in the same grade. Maybe you two might have a few classes together." I smiled "I certainly hope so." And shrugged a bit "Yeah maybe."
Suddenly Jamie walks out of the house and stops dead in her tracts when she sees me. She then slowly very cautiously walks next to her father and I smiled loving how beautiful she is and her shocked and curious expression that was currently placed on her perfect and beautiful face. Her father, Justin, smiled "Jamie this is our new neighbor from across the street Alec." I extended my hand out towards her "It's nice to meet you Jamie." She looks down at my hand then back to my face "Hi..." I brought my hand back after realizing she isn't going to take it and stick my hands back into my pockets. "Well thanks for stopping by, but you can leave now," Jamie said.
I blinked a couple of times in pure utter shocked and he father sighed "That was very rude thing to say Jamie. Sorry James she doesn't have the best manners at times." I shrugged "It's no big deal, most people theses days don't have the best manners so it's pretty normal actually." Jamie rolled her eyes "Excuse me, but if you couldn't tell we're kind of busy right now." I smiled "I could help you guys if you like. An extra pair of hands couldn't hurt, could it?" Justin smiled and Jamie rolled her eyes "We don't need your help we got it thank you."
"What did I do to get on her nerves already?" Her father sighed "Come on Jamie he's right it would help a lot." He looks at me and smiles at me "Thank you for the offer James, we would really appreciate the help." I nodded as we walked to the back of the truck where all the boxes were. Luckily all the boxes were labeled so I just had to follow the directions on where to go. "Wait why am I doing this? I would never lift a finger on anything for another girl so why am I doing it now?" Jamie stood by the kitchen door and raised an eyebrow at me "Well if your going to help us, why are you just standing there. Come on let's get back to work." I blinked and smiled "Oh right, sorry. I coming." I said going after her so we're walking side by side to the truck.
