I reaconized most of the angels that stood before me. They were all lower ranking than I was before I fell. Mostly gardening angels and two delivery angels. They were all wearing suits or work atire. They were all gourguse of course but had a look of insecurity, a emotion that dosen't look good on them.

"Move! Now." I said firmly. Joesph a tall brunette I new gave an uneasy glance to the one next to him, Brittney, but got no reasponce. They just stood there. So what the hake I'll walk around them. Once they realized what I was doing they blocked my path.

"Lyra your coming with us. We need your help." Elizabeth said from behind me.

"No! I'm not! I want no part of the war."

"It's your responsibility."

"No it's not."

"Your Angel. Your supposed to help your people."

"I'm not an angel. I'm a fallen angel. It's not my problem."

"Once an angel always an angel."

"That's just a stupid saying. When I fell the strip me of my angels title doll. So I technically not an angel."

"That doesn't mean abandon your people."

"I don't have to help you, so I won't."

"But you'll let your people die." She said like she had me cornered.

"Stop being dramatic, your not going to die. So I'm not helping you. You know I really feel loved. Throw me to the streets and when I'm needed you know were to find me." I said coldly. They all seemed to be taken aback by what I said. "Oooh now the truth comes out." I walked through them. No one tried to stop me. They must feel really guilty or know no to mess with me. Either way I don't care, as long as they leave me alone I'm happy. As I walked through the door I see Elizabeth. A look of sympathy and understanding grace her features. I give her a small smile and nod. We had mutual understanding. She was gone in seconds and with that I was late for work, sprinting up stairs to get to a meeting I had. It was a long and boring meeting that I wouldn't feel awful about missing but sadly I made it. The dau was boring and my boss is thinking about fireing me so I'm not to thrilled about how to my day has been. I walked home in the dark exusted. I'm usually not that bet up after work but today was not my day. Running into a dark angel. Getting stopped by angels, and having a whole bunch of idiots at work. It's just been an awful day. I pass the now closed coffee shop and it starts to down poor. Great. Just great. Usually I don't mind the rain but I have my laptop so I pick up the paste. Given my luck today if I run I'll probably fall on my face. I must look like a crazy person, running in the rain without a umbrella instead of calling a taxi. One I'm so close to my apartment I can see it, two I don't have the money. Apparently I'm not that crazy because there a person running full speed in my direction. I go to move to the side but it's to late. They crashed into me so hard we both fell to the ground.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't see you." A male vocie says frantically. The vocie seemed familiar. When I looked to see who tackled me my heart almost stopped. It was the same man I cash into earlier only very distracted. Why life, why!

"Its okay." I replied not looking at him. I opened my bag and pulled out the laptops and put it under my jacket because my bag is soaked.

"Oh. Um..." He studered looking at my laptop. Then he went through his bag and pulled out an umbrella and handed it to me. "Here you can have this."

I looked at him like he were crazy.
"You have an umbrella and didn't use it?" I half screamed, half laughed.

"Yes. It would have slowen me down." He said as if it were obvious. I just looked at him like he gone insane. "Take it." Told me sternly and rushed. I did the second he said it. Then I stood up and opened it while remaining to cover my laptop with my jacket just in case.

"Thanks. But if I were you I rather be late than soaked." I said offering my hand. He took it gladly and stood up. He was about six foot so I slightly had to look up being that I'm five ten.

"Most would have. But now that doesn't really matter. I'm soaked and late." He shook his head laughing at how stupid it all was.

"Well that sucks, you can have your umbrella back if you want."

"No no. You need it more than i do with your laptop and all, but thanks." He smiled at me and then his expression changed. It was something I couldn't pinpoint. A mix between disbelief and panic. I was confused at first but then I remembered he was an dark angel and was problay after me.

"Well thanks, bye." I walked a way quickly not waiting for him to respond. Only when I was about 30 yards away did I look over my shoulder. What I saw surprised me. He was running the other direction. Weather I should be relieved or nervous I don't know but wow I'm happy I'm home.  I hung up my coat along with the umbrella, put my laptop on the table and ploped down on the couch. I was so tired I passed out on the couch right then and there. My dreams were nothing new just some exaggerated memories and the occasional bazaar random one. I was sound asleep. My heart steady, my breathing calm and my mind relaxed. It was all diminished when a pair of hands grabes me. The last thing I saw before the world went dark again was glowing red eyes and a cruel smile.
