D'Artagnan stood in front of me like a sheild.

"Can I help you?" He questioned with a warning tone.

"Yes. Hand over what's ours and we will leave." Gorege a golden angel said pointing to me.

"That's weird I don't see anything there that belongs to you." He replied while looking around as if he was trying to find what he was talking about.

"Alright that's enough. Knock it off." A vocie deep boom from the back. It was a vocie I new well. The owner of the voice appeared at the front. I ran out from behind D'Artagnan and threw my arm around him in at hug. His name was Arthur, he had light brown hair and dark brown eyes. He is one of my best friends. He fought for me. I haven't seen him in five years. We hugged for a second then stepped back smiling.

"Hi." I said. Not really knowing what else to say.

"Hey Lyra." He smiled. It was like everyone else was gone but they weren't. Everyone was a little surprised at my actions and D'Artagnan was very confused.

"So. I'm guessing that you are here to convince me to go with you." I already new the answer. I was happy to see Arthur and all but he didn't seem the same. He looked different. He didn't seem as good willed, he looked defensive and his genuine smile turned fake. It was sad to see how subspetable he was to peoples expectations. He is one of seven people I trusted. We were all outcasts together, it was us against the world. But he was alway easily swayed, we had to make sure other people didn't try to change him and he was himself. But it seems our efforts failed.

"You have to come with us Lyra." He said.

"Ok what is going on?" D'Artagnan asked completely confused. I guessed he was referring to the everything that happened between me and Arthur.

"I'm good. You can go now." I said to the angels while waving goodbye at them . I would answer D'Artagnan's question later.

"That wasn't a request." Arthur stated flatly.

"I'm not going with you." I replied. Arthur was about say something but then D'Artagnan intervened.

"You should go. Being that you are in enemy territory and all."

"If you give us what we need then we will leave." Sarah a lower ranking angel said trying to be fierce. I leaned on the building again, this was going to be a show.

"There's nothing there that belongs to you. Lyra is not a angel anymore so she doesn't belong to you. I'm being nice by requesting that you leave now, or else you will make this area of peace, a war zone. As far as I'm concerned you don't have our permission to be here and that means you declared war in a place where you are grately out number." D'Artagnan smirked.

"That's funny I don't see any angels, just you and you're the out numbered one." She shot back.

"I could probably take you with ease and if there was some absurd reason that I couldn't" he lowered his face to her level with a cocky grin and tempted her, "all it would take is one yell and you would be done for." She was seriously irritated. She clenched her fist and took a swing at him but her fist never made contact. Everyone was in shock. I was now in front of Sarah with her fist in my hand. They have forgotten how quick I am.

"That's enough! Back off, all of you!" I barked at them. "You know my answer now leave." Everyone that had a lower rank immediately backed off. I didn't think I still had that ability. Apparently nobody else thought so either. I surprised myself but didn't show it. Not to brag but I had a very good poker face. "My answer is no. So scram."

"I'm disappointed in you Lyra. You have changed ." Arthur said.

"No I haven't. You know I never liked to be a part of Wars, I never wanted to be and now I don't have to be. So why would I help one especially after everything that's happened." I accused him. "Stop lying to yourself we both know you're the one who's changed Arthur."
