Red... Red... Red... All I can see is red. The crimson liquid spills out from my wrists as silent tears slide down my face, my body trembling as my ex-boyfriend pounds harder on the door, the loud thudding ringing through my ears but I'm not really hearing it. I can't hear, I can't feel, I can't see anything other than red. Red, the red liquid pouring from the cuts on my wrist. Red, the metallic smell filling the air as the blood begins to pool around my body. Red, the red staining my clothes as the blood sleeps through them slowly, the once blue pants becoming a dark black with a red tint. Everything is red, covered in red, coated in the red liquid that hides in the bodies of living creatures. It pumps through our veins, keeping us alive and giving us everything we could ever need besides food and water.
The pounding becomes louder and louder as he tries harder to break through the door, frantic to try and get to me but failing miserably as my vision becomes blurry, my head spinning as I am suddenly filled with pure bliss from the blood loss. The door begins to crack under the pressure of him constantly ramming against it repeatedly with his body. "Kayson! Kayson you have to open the door! Kayson, please! Open the door please Kayson!" His word echo throughout the house as he finally breaks down the door.
Wood chips scatter around the bathroom and hallway, the larger pieces landing on the ground with a loud bang making my body flinch and turn away from the flying wood chips going around the room while he rushes towards my body, the red liquid beginning to seep into his clothes as well, covering his body like it was mine, his hands wrapping around my shoulders as he shakes them roughly, trying to get me to focus on him but I only laughed as more tears slip down my already tear and blood stained face. "Kayson, answer me! Kayson, don't leave me please, I love you! Kayso-"
Black. All I see is black.
Almost as black as my soul...
