Chapter 32

The following morning, Inya had heard the babies cry. 'Ugh, time to feed them again.'  Inya thought as she got up. She then felt a strong arm tug at her shirt and looked behind her. 

"Don't worry. I'll feed them." Yugi smiled as he got up, tucking her back into bed. She smiled as she grabbed her small, pink, fluffy bunny. As soon as she felt her eyelids fall, she heard a loud scream. Inya bolted out of bed and ran into the living room the source of the noise. 

"Yugi, what happened?" She asked as she walked over to their babies. She pushed Yugi out of the way. What she saw made her almost pass out with fear. She saw that her twins had two dark purple marks that went from the left side of their eye and went down to their leg. 

"Yugi...what the HELL is this?" She asked as she looked at him. Yugi shrugged his shoulders, not having any clue what that was. 

"I don't know. Maybe we could call one of my friends and see if they know anything." They both nodded as Inya grabbed the babies, cuddling them, hoping that they would stop crying. It worked...somewhat. They didn't stop crying, but it had died down a LOT. 

"Ok. I called Ishizu. She'll come over in a few minutes as soon as she finishes up her meeting." Yugi spoke as he hung up. Inya looked at him.

"Who is she meeting with?" Inya usually knew, but this time she didn't know. Yugi shrugged as he sat next to her, holding Mavis. 

"I don't know. She didn't tell me. It's weird because she would tell me." Yugi sighed. He looked at their babies, who were still in pain. 'I hope she can come quickly. I don't know what's going on with them and I feel like something's hurting them..' Yugi kissed Mavis's head and tried to make her laugh instead of cry. 

Zera was still crying but started crawling to her sister, Mavis. Yugi was oddly shocked because the twins usually would crawl towards either Yugi or Inya, whichever they thought would be the most comfortable. 

"Z-Z.." Mavis tried to say her name, but it just wouldn't come out. 

"M-M.." Zera tried saying Mavis's name but it was syrup sticky on her tongue. Inya looked at them as she grabbed Zera, moving her closer to Mavis. 

Hours Later...

Inya and Yugi finally got the twins asleep, but at the cost of them sleeping with the duo. Inya looked at her lover, tears stinging her eyes. "Yugi, I'm scared. What if they're sick? I can't think of them being so sick at such a young age." Inya started crying as Yugi hugged her. He then kissed her head, saying, "Everything will be fine. I promise."
