Sam's POV

If you had asked me when we first started iCarly if I thought we would go from apartment room to Hollywood studio. Well, I would probably just have hit you with a sock full of butter for your childish fantasies. Just the idea of a successful web show alone sounded so far-fetched.

Reality hits you hard though and every time I'd wake up from a nap I had to remember that it wasn't just a dream. It was real! We were in L.A. and the thought of it made me speechless.

So many cars and so many people! They all seemed so different than the people back home. The wealthy ones seemed stuck up. You could see them sending judgmental glances to those walking by. I couldn't lie though for a bunch of rich snobs they were drop dead gorgeous. Too bad they're personalities were probably awful.

There are always negatives and positives when moving to a new place. Just basing off of my first impressions I'd choose L.A. over home any day of the week.

When Carly got the whole gang together and read us the letter I was all in. Who could resist an offer like this? Our show, something we started as a fun way to pass time grew with us. With each new episode we grew our content and eventually our followers. They helped us grow into something amazing and without their support we wouldn't have been given this opportunity to turn it into something even bigger. Not even Freddie could hesitate to say yes to this offer.

He would follow Carly to the ends of the earth even if it meant defying his mothers' aspirations and goals for him. Mrs.Benson was one of those controlling nitpicking mothers who had a 20-year plan written out for Freddies' next steps in life. I wasn't surprised that it was difficult for him to say no but he finally did and honestly it was about damn time.

The offer they made us was short, sweet, and simple. We would work together with West industries, they get paid, we get paid, and best of all we get to keep all of our rights. There were only a couple of conditions:

1. Finish out our last school year at an advanced performing arts school to strengthen our raw talent.
2. Compete at a web show convention and get into the top ten.
And finally the hardest of them all for me.
3. Stay out of trouble.

The rest was all taken care of for us, our applications for the school, a place to live, and 24/7 access to a studio. It was our first taste of fame and it was delicious. Before leaving Seattle Carly and Freddie thought it'd be a grand idea to sit me through an intervention about not being so aggressive or protective. Like I didn't know that already. If I made a single mistake and screwed this up it would ruin it for all of us and trust me I didn't plan on letting that happen. I knew how important this was to all of us. Opportunities like this didn't just come knocking on everyone's doors.

The cab we were in came to a slow stop at a guard booth. I looked out of the window observing the building we were currently trying to enter. It was gigantic there had to be more than 10 floors. The tinted windows made it hard to see into any of them, I guess privacy was respected around here.

"Enjoy your stay at the West Condos." The guard said pulling his lips into an awkward and forced smile keeping it until we passed him starting our ascent into the parking garage. We stopped again a few minutes later, the cab driver turned around looking eager for his payment. I took a couple of bills out of my pocket and handed it his way.

"Keep the change." Opening the door I climbed out stretching a little since we had been cramped in there for a few hours. Carly followed my lead and Freddie went out the other way. The cab driver hopped out making his way to the trunk where all our stuff was packed away.
