I woke up and mentally began to list my day before school. When I checked the time, it was 7:30, so I slightly rushed to get ready.I picked out my outfit, brushed my hair, and started to walk downstairs to eat breakfast before I did my makeup.
I was halfway through pouring a bowl of cereal that I remembered it was Labor Day weekend.
"The universe is good."
Since I had time, I decided to make a big breakfast before taking a long nap.
I made French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, jam toast, and waffles. I even made myself a chai tea latte. With the amount of food I made, I should've even done a mukbang.
"This is the stuff Athena, this is the stuff."
"Hey, you're up early."
I turned my head, expecting to see my brother but saw Damian instead. The boy that sparred with Ashton and had eyes like liquid gold.
"Uh, what are you doing here?" I asked
"Oh, you're brother wanted me to show him some new moves on one of his games."
"I see. I didn't know you were friends with him."
"We're more online buds than anything."
"So you're friends."
"Yeah."
"Cool, there's plenty of food, so help yourself." I waved my hand and motioned to the kitchen.
"Thanks. You wanna smoke?"
"I mean, sure, but I'm going to bed after."
"You're gonna smoke to sleep?" He asked, his eyebrow raised.
"Yes."
"Alright, let's go?"
I got up from my seat and noticed the joint on his ear. He also had a piercing with a black gem in it.
Were all the boys in town usually this hot?
Damian was beautiful with golden brown almond eyes and black hair. He was tall, built, and toned, not to mention the tattoos. He had a lip piercing that tied the whole package together.
Damian and I walked into my backyard. He sat down and lit the joint, passing it to me so he could eat some of his food.
I took the joint and sat next to him, checking him out on the low.
Damian met my eyes and smiled, not a cocky smirk but a simple nonchalant smile.
"So, what do you like to do for fun?" He asked.
"Well, what do you mean?"
"Like in your free time. When you're not with other people."
"Oh. Movies, books, food, games, art, music."
"That was direct."
"I lay everything crystal clear."
"So what's you're favorite movie, book, food, game, color, and song?"
"Wow, do you have a photographic memory?"
Damian shrugged and hit the joint I passed him. He also tossed his plate in the trash can. When he sat back down, he was a little closer than last time.
"Well, I love all classics, so anything extremely iconic, I love it. I don't have a favorite song. Too many to choose from. My favorite food is waffles, my favorite game would have to be God of War and my favorite color is purple."
