Daniel, Kaylene, and Rowan had pulled into my driveway to pick me up. We drove down the coast to Ashton's house, the same place I met him.

I started to get butterflies in my stomach, but before I could even address them we were walking inside.

Immediately my eyes met Ashton's. He was wearing a black leather jacket that made him look untamed in an insatiable type of way.

For fucks sake, brain, you need to get a grip of your panties!

"Hey, sugar."

"Seriously?"

"I'm just looking for the boundary." Ashton shrugged.

"What boundary?"

"The ones I'm pushing."

"We're not about to circle back to this," I rolled my eyes, exasperated.

Ashton shrugged his shoulders before closing the door behind me.

"Hey, T. Hit the blunt?" Blake asked

"Hell yeah, pass it over." I replied.

"I'm polo to your Marco."

A familiar voice spoke from around the corner and before I could even register the identity of those eyes, Damian emerged.

I blushed and looked down at my feet. Less than 12 hours ago, we had hot sex, and now I have to look the man who came in my mouth, in the eyes.

Who needs the walk when you can have a whole, damn show of shame?

Regardless of my inner turmoil, I just nodded. My heart was beating too fast to even keep up with the smoke.

The joint circled around before it went out. We sat at the dining table, eating pizza and smoking another joint we sparked.

"So why exactly is Liz not here?"

"She's not allowed to go to the club." Replied Rowan

"What do you mean?"

"First of all, instant train wreck. Secondly, Liz's cousin flew down from Europe, so they spent the day together, and now they're at some fancy restaurant."

"How informed you are, Blake."

"Gotta stay in the loop. Always be aware."

"Of the killer?"

"Exactly."

The others and I laughed, passing the joint around until that went out as well.

"So club?" Daniel vouched.

"Club." Blake agreed.

By the time everyone headed out, it was already half past midnight. The air was fresh, and the breeze was soft. The stars twinkled elegantly against the dark sky.

I could look up forever.

"Hey, Athena."

I turned to face Damian as I walked out the door, his lip ring looked very...delectable.

"H-hey, what's up?"

Really? The stutter?

"I know we don't really know each other, and then there's what happened today, but we're cool, right? Because I think you're cool, and I don't want to make anything weird."

"Oh no.. nothing is, hah weird it's just... well, I haven't been, you know in a while, and ... you happen to be extremely attractive. So no worries, no tension, just a little bit shy and...bothered."
