                                                                          Truth!

    Gem's POV:

        I slowly walked out of the door when Tobias told me to leave. I didn't mean to, but I always get so angry. My anger built up inside of me, and CRASH! I ran to examine my window. I had to punch the wall... really Jamie I thought. I couldn't help my anger. Tobias always treated me like a ten year old.

         I heard footsteps going up the stairs quickly, and I ran to my bed pretending to be sitting quietly. Father opened the door quickly. "WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" Father screamed.

       "I accidentally hit the window.. oops.. sorry?" I told him.

         "You're covering for Tobias aren't you? Don't you dare cover for him or.. or you'll.. yo-"

       I interrupted him, "You'll what? Hurt me? Oh, and no I accidentally broke it, sorry."

    He started to say something, but he left and ran into Tobias's room. My father screamed, "I told you if you told someone you'll be beaten even more!" I could hear him scream.

       "I didn't tell anyone! I swear!" Tobias shouted. I could hear father slip his belt out and first hit the floor.

        "Don't lie, you selfish, ungrateful, child. This is for your own good!" Marcus screamed. I could hear the belt slam onto Tobias's back over and over. I would slowly shriek, and I'd start to cry knowing I started the pain.

       I walked to my bed, and I slowly lied down to sleep. I thought about Tobias, and soon I fell asleep.

        Once I woke up, I realized it was morning and today was the day of Tobias's test. I needed to talk to him right away. I had fallen asleep in the same clothes as yesterday, so I just got up and knocked on Tobias's door.

       "Hey, can I talk to you?" I asked.

      " Yea, come in. " Tobias replied.

      Tobias sat in his nice clothes. He wore all gray. He looker in the mirror one last time before putting the sheet back on top.

      "Tobias, I know you're probably thinking of staying here in Abnegation for me. I know you don't wanna stay, so go! I'll be fine... good luck!" I told him and walked out of the room.

A/N: I'm sorry there wasn't much action. There will be a lot of drama and action coming soon. I hope you liked it. I am going to try to update daily, and you can give ideas anytime. They are always helpful!
