"He has to get this right away!" Marianne pleaded with the mailman.

"I'm sorry miss we don't deliver on Mondays. You'll have to wait."

"Please you don't understand. This is urgent!" She began to cry.

"I'm sorry," is all he says as he drives off.

"No," she says as she begins to run. She runs all the way to the docks, where she boards the first boat and sails half way across the world.

She continues to run. Soon she reaches a mountain and climbs. She climbs up and over it and still persists.

She runs through snow, rain, heat, until she reaches him.

She stops, finally, outside of Michael J. Williams III's Castle. Her love, the king of Sovnek, was ill.

She needed to deliver this message.

"Please I need to see him!"

"Are you a medic?" The guard questioned.

"No, I am Marianne Dezz, but I need to deliver this message. It's urgent!"

"I will give it to him," the guard says as he holds out his hand.

"Do you promise he'll get it as soon as possible?"

"Of course, madame."

She hands the paper over to him.

He turns and leaves into the castle.

"Your highness, a woman by the name of Marianne Dezz, has brought you a message."

The King coughs, "bring it here," he says, holding out a frail, shaky hand.

The guard gently places it in his palm.

The King reads it and smiles before he dies.

The guard looks at the paper that had brought such a large smile during these hard times.

She only told him that she loved him.
