"good morning, mr. urie," brendon jumped at the sound of his student's voice. he looked up at her and smiled.
"morning," he said cheerfully.
he watched her sit down and went back to staring off into space.
he heard another person walk in his room, too quick to be a student.
"good mor-"
"mr urie. how is it that your test scores were better than mine?" dallon had basically ran to brendon's room the second he found this information. a smile slowly spread across brendon's face and he jumped up from his chair and laughed triumphantly. the student who had come in earlier was laughing as well as she had gotten the highest score in the class.
"i dunno. maybe because i'm the better teacher. if you'd just admit--"
"nope. never. i'm the better teacher. i will teach the hell out of this world war two chapter and i will get the best test scores," dallon seemed to be plotting already.
"good luck with that, weekes," brendon said with a smirk and raised eyebrows. dallon narrowed his eyes, crossed his arms, and walked out of the room. brendon smiled a bit at their shenanigans.
for the next week and a half, the two were furiously teaching the chapter, and finally the test day came. after brendon had collected the tests and averaged them, he was pretty confident that he was going to win.
the monday after the test rolled around and dallon burst into brendon's room before school, laughing triumphantly.
"i win, urie. i told you i'd win," he smiled brightly, and was obviously very proud of his accomplishment.
"damn you, weekes. damn you," brendon said with a slight frown. "loser gets what?"
"a date from the winner," dallon said as he slipped brendon a piece of paper with his number on it and blew him a scarcastic kiss.
