PETER PAN;
PETER GRAN

❝He is not a monster like in fairy tales. No, he is worse. So much worse. They say he is wrath and whirlwinds, lightning and leftover ashes from the dying sun.❞

Peter and Rebekah sat in the living room of the plantation house, waiting in silence for Klaus to arrive with Sophie. They sat in a comfortable silence before Rebekah broke it when she kept starring at Pan, as if deciding whether or not to ask him a question.

She decided to ask anyway since she was Rebekah Mikaelson.

"Why are you so powerful?" She asked him casually. It seemed to her as though this were a question everybody asked everyday for normal conversation. He look at her for a moment with a stare that seemed like he was trying to remember how.

"I was forced away by a powerful person and had many years of practice." He answered her. She seemed dissatisfied with his answer when she pursed her lips.

"I mean why." She repeated and began to elaborate. "Why would you want to be so powerful? You practiced and you became this good at magic? What's the reason behind it? Are you like my brother? So in need of being on top? Or are you just doing for another reason?"

"I'd like to reply with a little bit of both." Pan smirked.

Rebekah opened her mouth to question him further, but Klaus arrived and deposited Sophie on the seat across from the couch Rebekah and Peter sat on.

"We had a deal! You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's army. And whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches." Klaus told her angrily, sitting down beside Pan.

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear. Hayley and I are linked, remember? She dies, I die." Sophie said frantically

"Then who were they?" Rebekah asked in a confused tone.

Sophie sighed. "They are a faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby."

"What kind of vision?" Pan immediately asked, leaning forward to hear what it was.

"She has them all the time. They are totally open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one." Sophie explained, waving it off.

"Well, how, may I ask, was this particular vision interpreted?" Klaus questioned.

"Let me guess, it has something to do with you witches and the baby's power." Peter stated with a sarcastic smile.

"...Pretty much that the baby would bring death to all witches."

"Ah, well. I grow fonder of this child by the second." Klaus smiled, looking at Pan. Peter gave him a smile before sneering at him and looking away with a roll of his eyes.
