Chapter 3:

Asiling’s P.O.V.

After seeing Rachel’s body fall to the ground lifeless, I clicked my safety back on and put the gun back in my purse.

Rachel was some girl that went out with S for only 5 days, and on the fifth day he dumped Rachel and asked me out.

I wasn’t really expecting it, but I didn’t reject him, obviously.

Anyways, she turned out to be a psychotic chick. It has been more than once that she has tried to kill me. The difference between those times and now was that S wasn’t with me.

I could’ve killed her the multiple times that she approached me, but Santiago said to let it go, and that she wasn’t a real threat.

Luckily I saw Aaron and some of the other guys hidden in the darkness of the parking lot. I knew they would always have my back. They probably had this whole place bugged since it was part of their territory.

It felt good to finally get rid of her. I didn’t need to think twice about killing her. She was just wasting my time, and since Santiago wasn’t here, I didn’t have anyone to tell me not to.

Looking back at the bushes I saw Aaron, Marco, Leo, Mikey and Benny coming out of the darkness and walking towards me.

I smirk at them and then turn back to Z guys after hearing someone scream. I turned to the source and see Calix holding his shoulder.

“Calix! Shut up!” I yell at him, irritated with his whining. I know for sure that he has gotten worse. It’s only a shoulder wound! He needs to suck it up!

“He sure is a baby,” Aaron said, finally reaching us.

“Who the hell are you?” Azaiah asked them.

“None of your business," glared Aaron.

“We gotta go," Aaron told me, "But we’ll see you later sweetheart. Stay out of trouble now, oh and we'll call for a clean-up,” Aaron said pointing at the bodies on the ground.

The guys walked away into the darkness leaving me with my brothers.

“How do you know them?” Serge asked me.

“None of your business,” I said back glaring.

“Ais, what’s wrong? What have we done that has made you hate us?” Azaiah asked me.

“Just leave me alone Az,” I said back to him.

“No! I’m not going to leave you alone Ais! I want to know what we did! What have we done that been so bad that you can’t even talk to us! Tell us! Tell me!” he shouted grabbing my arms.

Feeling him grab my arms made me start to remember that night. I kept my face emotionless, but on the inside I wanted to curl up, cry, and ask them to stop.

They all stayed quiet and I took that time to calm myself. After about 10 minutes I had finally calmed down and lifted my head to look at them.

I noticed an unfamiliar face looking around. Was he always here with us?

“Who are you?” I asked the unknown guy.

“Taislen,” he told me. His voice was low with an accent. It was also smooth and sent a slight shiver up my spine.

Actually taking in his appearance, I saw that he had to be about 6’ 3”. He was still shorter than Z, but not by much. He was muscular, but not enough to make his arms look fat. Looking at his torso, you could tell that he had a 6-pack, maybe even an 8-pack, through his shirt.
