Chapter 4:
“The what?” I asked them.
“You know what I’m talking about A,” Z said, “I mean, you killed that girl at the club about 2 hours ago, and there is no sign of guilt or regret on your face. And those guys! They don’t look like the kind of guys that you would see at school. You have a first aid kit that most doctors would use, and you patched up Calix’s wound like it was a daily routine! And I saw the tattoo A. There’s no way out of this,” he finished with a shrug.
Narrowing my eyes at him I put no emotion on my face.
“That girl deserved it.”
“This isn’t you,” Aza stated, “You aren’t the kind of person that would think someone deserves to die!”
“The girl that you’re thinking of isn’t me anymore.” I said turning around and beginning to walk the stairs.
“This discussion is over. Goodnight.” I said emotionless while walking up the stairs.
Going to my room I locked my door and went to go take a shower. After I had taken a shower and changed into some sweats and a tank top, I went to go and lay down on my bed.
Today wasn’t exactly what I had planned for. I mean, I would've been fine without the brothers drama. I wouldn’t have minded getting rid of Rachel again, but everyone only has one life. Except for cats’, they have nine. Lucky bitches.
I lifted my hand and rubbed it against my left side where the tattoo was. If I paid really close attention to how my skin felt, I could feel the slight indentation of the tattoo itself. Looking at the clock I think about the job that I have tomorrow morning and fall into a dreamless sleep.
Azaiah’s P.O.V.
“You still think she’s in the Armonía gang?” Jago asked after Ais went up the stairs.
“Of course I do,” Z said, still staring at the spot where Ais was standing, "she has the gang symbol tattooed on her side."
“Guys, I mean, come on, you guys know our sister, she wouldn’t be in a gang,” I say looking at them.
They all looked back at me and agreed, everyone except Z.
“Our sister? Az, that girl isn’t the same sister that we left 5 years ago! She killed a person! An actual living human being, and shows no sign of remorse! We don’t know anything about this girl. The old Aisling wouldn’t have lied, but this isn’t the old Aisling.”
“This isn't going to interfere with the gang is it?,” Taislen interrupted.
Each one of us turned our heads towards Taislen and gave him a glare.
“Hey, you guys have a responsibility to the gang. You can’t just back out of your responsibilities.”
“We know Taislen, now go away while we discuss this as a family.” Calix told him.
“Whatever,” Taislen said walking away.
“Guys, what do you want to do about this?” Serge asked.
“I think we should lock her in her room so we know for sure that she isn’t doing anything,” Calix said with a smile.
“No!” I said before they could all agree, which I’m sure they would’ve done.
“Why not?” Jago asked, “It seems like a pretty good idea.”
“Because as her twin and the smartest one in this family, I know that is no way to try and get closer to her,” I told them.
