~Fionna's POV~

Me and Finn were dancing and laughing at LSP, who was arguing with Melissa over dip. Then someone announced for us to take our seats. Finn sat next to me, but Marchall's chair on my other side was still empty.

That's when I saw him. Entering the hall with Ashley on his arm and taking a seat elsewhere.

It felt like my blood ran cold. I tried hard to keep my smile and listen to Finn, but I had to get some air.
"Excuse me bro. Gotta get some air. I'll be right back." I said and stood up.
He looked at me, worry evident in his eyes.
"Ok. Just yell when you need me."

I exited the hall and sat there for what felt like an hour or so. Finn exited and pulled me up.
"Come on. They're about to announce Ice King and Queen."
"Ok."

I collected myself and went with Finn.

"This year's Ice King is...

MARCHALL-LEE ABADEER THE VAMPIRE KING!!!"

I was happy for him. Although he kind of ditched me, It's cool. Looks like he's trying to work out things with Ashley again, wich is... nice.

"And this year's Ice Queen is none other than

FI- Ashley Wizard."

Well I bet everyone called it. Then something bugged me.

He kissed her.

Right there, infront of everyone. That was it. I couldn't keep lying to myself any longer. I gulped hard and my eyes filled with tears. I quickly made my way over to Finn.
"Take me home."
"Why? What's going o-"
"Just take me home!"

He nodded and he began to drive back to my dorm. When he got there I slammed the door shut and looked at him, tears escaping my eyes.
"Wait here."
I ran upstairs and grabbed anything that I could find. I just knew I wouldn't be able to handle having Ashley over for movie nights or dates and I couldn't spend the vacation with... who I thought was my best friend. I couldn't look at him right now. As soon as I was finished packing I looked around my room. Maybe, I should just leave.
Permanently.
Or maybe I'm just overreacting.

I ran down the stairs and got into my brother's car. He called Gumball and asked him to bring my car around tomorrow. Then we were off. Far away from that stupid school and far away from Marchall.

When we got there it was just as I remembered it, well, without Cake and Jake this time. I missed this place.
I went up to my old room and plopped down my bag. The blankets and everything else was fresh, as if he knew I was coming. I changed into an oversized t-shirt and my pajama pants. I plugged in my earphones and listened to "paradise" by Coldplay on repeat the entire night, then I drifted off to sleep, crying softly.

"....
KISS.
IT.
BETTER."
"Noway Marchall! I have a boyfriend!"
"And I'm your still extremely mad best friend, now dooo it."
I stood there hesitating for a few seconds. Then I shocked myself.
"Fine. How do I do this you weirdo."
"First, sit down." He said gesturing to his lap. I sighed then sat down. I blushed ALOT. Then he lifted his shirt to reveal his toned abdomen. He then pointed to a spot on his chest.
"Kiss here." I blushed heavily but did it slowly so I wouldn't hurt him.
"And here." He said pointing higher. I kissed him there.
"And here." He said and I kissed at the top of his chest. When I lifted my head, I was inches away from his face, staring into his eyes. They were beautiful. Black and ruby red. Wait...what?!?
I snapped out of it and got off of his lap.
"Uhm... I gotta go. Hope you heal quickly."
"I'm already heald Fi, but thanks for the kisses anyway." He said laughing and floated out of my reach. I was pissed and really red.
"Marchall you butt!!" I said throwing my shoes at him, but missing.

"Wow. Those kids.....sure are a handful." Marchall said while yawning.
"Uh-huh." I said with my eyes closed. Suddenly I felt Marchall get off the couch and clear his throught. I opened one eye to see him infront of me with his arms outstretched towards me. I frowned.
"What??" I asked opening my eyes.
"I'm not gonna clean up by myself Fi." He said eyes still closed. I smiled at this and took his hands.

He entered and sat next to me.
"Watcha doing???" He asked trying to look on my phone but I pulled it towards me.
"Nooothing."
"Let me see!"
"No!!"
"Fine...you asked for it." He said then started tickling me.
"No...stop..." I said between giggles. Suddenly he stopped and we both still smiled at each other, looking into each others eyes.
"Uhm....it's getting late. I should go get some sleep. Nights Fi."
"Oh, right. Nights,....Marchy." Suddenly he stopped floating to the door and smirked over his shoulder at me.
"Dig the nickname Fi."
"You gave me one so I just returned the favor."
"Ok. Goodnight."
"Nights."

I got up the next morning and stared outside. Hmm... still dark... just the way I like it. I putt on a top and went for a walk. I still listened to the song. I've loved it sinch forever. It was freezing outside. Usually that would make me suspicious because Ice Queen would be up to her old tricks again, but it's Winter, so it's normal.
Ice Queen....Ice Queen...Ashley. Ugh! I've got nothing against her I just don't wanna think about her right now. I went and sat on my favorite hill. Watching the sun come up was always my favorite thing to do when I had to think. So beautiful.
"Hey."
"Hey Bubba."
"What are you doing out here. Aren't you cold?"
"Nah gotta get my mind off of... stuff."
"It's him isn't it?"
"Wha-"
"You loved him, but he crushed you in return... correct?"
"I-I don't know I... he was just my best friend. Nothing more."
"Fionna. It's obvious. After their PDA you stormed off. Well, it was obvious to me. Just know that some things aren't what they seem."
"What do yo-"
But when I turned around, he was gone. Aren't what they seem. It SEEMED very obvious. Whatever.
I jogged back to the house and found a note from Finn.

Out for a walk. I'll be back soon Fi-Fi.

Guess it's just me then. Then I remembered someone who I could always call.

"BMO! Where are you buddy?!"
"Oh Fionna! I am here. Who wants to play video games!?"
"Me obviously. I'm the only one here aren't I?"
"Where is Finn?"
"Out. Now, let's play."

~Finn's POV~

"Abadeer, open this door!" I said knocking loudly.
"Okay okay. I'm up! What do you want?"
"Don't ask me crap! You know what I want. What did you do to my sister!?"
"Look buddy, I DON'T KNOW YOU, OR YOUR SISTER okay!?!
