~Marshall's POV~

Suddenly, everything comes back to me. All of my lost memories. Finally, this emotional struggle is over. I don't like hurting Fionna. I don't like making her mad or making her cry, especially if I can't even remember what I did wrong. It's all Ashley's fault. That little bitch thinks she'll get away with this?? She's got another thing coming.

Fi just sat there, looking shocked. I look back at her and smile while taking her hands in my own.

"Thank you."
"Thank you??" She asked, looking  confused.
"Yip, you made me remember  everything. With that little sentence. To think, about 900 years ago I said that exact sentence to... Hambo." I winch slightly as I say his name. I miss him so much. She just looks at me apologetically. Waaaiiit--

She loves me????
She loves me!!!!

I grip her chin softly and pull her face towards mine. She closes her eyes as I place a passionate kiss on her plump, pink lips. When I pull away, a small smile plays on her lips and she blushed heavily.
"So, you mentioned something about love. Repeat those three words Fi. I couldn't hear you." I teased.
"Marchall, you butt! I-I meant it!"
"I love you too bunny. I always have, always will." I say, giving her a genuine smile and kissing her forehead. She gives me a warm smile and gets up.
"Com'on Marsh. Get dressed so we can give this to Bubba right away."
"Okay. Just a sec." I said and went to go change.

~Fionna's POV~

I walk downstairs calmly. I walk until I'm in the middle of the room then stop. Then I yelled hysterically. He likes me back!!! All that drama finally paid off.
Marshall came rushing down the ladder as well.
"You okay?!?" He asked examining my body.
"Uhm yeah. Just a bug. No biggy."
"Riiggghhhht..." he says. "I bet it was the same bug you saw back at the dorm after you accidentally hugged me."
I blush like crazy, remembering that morning.

Me and Marshall left the treehouse and soon got to the Candy Castle. We ran to Bubba's lab and just burst in. Huh...

He wasn't there?

We searched his whole Castle, still no sign of him. Must be at the hospital. If not, then we have a crisis. We walked there, yes, WE, wich shocked me a bit because Marshall is such a lazybutt. When we got there, Gumball was just exiting a room, reading something from his clipboard. We ran up to him and I held the bag wich contained all the ingredients, out to him.
"Mission Complete." I said triumphantly.
He looks up and smiles at us, well, mostly at me.
"Wow. You did it! I'll start the cure immediately. You better get some rest Fionna." He said and rushed away to his lab. I don't need rest. I'm totally fine! Marshall holds both my hands in his and looks into my eyes, concern evident on his face.
"Hate to say this but he's right Fi. You barely slept in these past couple of days. Better get some rest before it's back to school."
"I will, but I'm not leaving until I know that Finn's alright."
He hugs me and I can feel him smile.
"Okay. And I won't leave until your alright."
I hug him back tightly and we walk into Finn's room. He was awake, reading.
"Hey bro. How are you holding up??"
"Good Fi-Fi. Just glad you returned safely."
"You know about us leaving??"
"Yeah. You know Gumball can't keep a secret." He laughed weakly. I hated seeing him this way, but I was glad that he was still joking around and not gloomy.
"Can I speak to Marshall alone please?"
"Sure." I say smiling warmly and exiting the room.

~Marshall's POV~

"I'm listening buddy."
"Marshall, I don't know if Gumball's cure thing will work, so promise me something. Promise me that, no matter what, You'll love my sister and won't hurt her."
"I promise dude. Your sister means the world to me. I won't hurt her."
"Okay man. I believe you. You look out for her in that school of yours, okay??"
"I will." I said.
"Me and Fi are heading home so she can get some rest. This trip really didn't allow her to rest much, but we'll come visit everyday." I said opening the door to let Fi back in. She entered the room and we said our goodbyes.

When we got back at my place we saw someone I knew all to well.

My mom.
