6. Closer

When I woke up the sun shines brightly through the curtains which were moved by the soft summer breeze. The smell of the ocean lingered in the air. My eyes felt still heavy and while trying to wake up I remembered the day before.

What kind of things happened.

I jumped up and looked around the room. Lisa was still asleep, she was buried under the covers and I only saw here and there her legs sticking out.

I sighed and walked over to the nightstand where I have left my phone the night before.
I was afraid it might burst. I got so many messages, Kai, Chen, Baek and Kasper apologised and called me a dozen times. Telling me they had lost Lisa while they were totally drunk.

I decided to give Kai a quick call. I went outside the room.
It took a while until he picked the phone up,

K: "OH MY GOD CHANYEOL IM SO SORRY!!
SHOOT ME HYUNG I LOST HER! We've been up all night looking for her!"

C: "Yah no worries, she has been with me all night, I picked her up after you guys acted up.
She's tired and worn out because of yesterday night."

K: "YOU COULDVE CALL ME EARLIER?! All of us were about to die of fear of you?! You said you'd kill us one after one!"

C: "Later, I'm not in the mood to kill you guys. I'm fucking tired."

K: "Did you bang???"

C: "What?!"

K: "You did~"

C: "Fuck off Kai, before I get in the mood to kick your ass."

*peep peep peep*

Ha! That guy is afraid, 1:0 for Park Chanyeol bitch.

Lisa was still asleep, as I took a glance inside the room. I took a shower, changed into clean clothes, made breakfast and woke her up.

Her hair went back to brown. She rubbed her eyes and looked at me tired.
"What happened last night..? I don't remember a thing.. did I drink again..?"
I wasn't sure if I should tell her the truth.
I decided to wait. She would feel ashamed, and nobody besides me seemed to remember.
We should keep it that way for now.

"Yeah... Kai and the other guys totally filled you up. But they're quite done now too. I picked you up when you didn't reply to my messages and calls anymore. Just at the right time.."

"Mianhae... I made you worry again.."

"As if I'd worry about you..tch"
I denied it. Of course I would.

"I know you were. You're always like that..."

I cursed myself for looking at her at that moment. Her lips were curved into a smile and her messy brown hair still looked angelic with the sun shining through the curtains upon her.
That wasn't fair.

Weeks past just like that. Lisa would go to Suhos restaurant and pick up food from time to time. She went to my university's library with me and studied while I did too. It was as if normality came back to me. It would become more rare that I could come early home. Exams were coming before summer break. But gladly I found enough time to study. Lisa was good off on her own and somehow she also made friends. She met some girls and that was perfect. Mina, a really quiet one. She brought her one time and Jisoo. Jisoo was funny and as far as I know she was also Nam Joohyuks girlfriend. That dude was handsome but he was trouble, I wonder how a good and nice girl like Jisoo ended up with him but whatever this wasn't my business.

Because the exam kept me busy studying, I also spent less time with Lisa. Sometimes she was disturbing me but I certainly not mind nor could I scream at her. She was very caring and affectionate towards me. Also she grew more independent. She always made me food while I was studying. She stopped watching tv and turned down the music when I came home. She prepared baths for me and she also came several times with lunch boxes to my university because I barely had time to go home nor would I eat if she wouldn't come.
