*Blaze rubs her eyes because she thinks this is a dream but it's not as she opens her eyes again*
Blaze: H-How are 2 here?
*Blaze says dumb founded*
Sonic: Well funny story actually
Tails: Lets just say that Eggman happened and he may be in your world yet again....
*Blaze face palms in anger*
Blaze: You got to be kidding me...
Sonic: Well Tails didn't you forget the glowing chaos emeralds?
*Sonic looks at Tails besides him*
Tails: Oh ya ... whoops
*Tails scratches the back of his head*
Blaze: Strange the soul emeralds were glowing as well, could be that they called you here again for some purpose?
*Sonic scratches his head and thinks*
Sonic: Well uhh I think so
Tails: But the question is why?
*Just then Tail's, Sonic's, and Blaze's shadow grow bigger and form a black mist which goes into the air as a spiral. A voice laughs at them. Sonic looks at Tails with a 'really?' face*
Sonic: You had to ask why didn't you?
Tails: Sorry
???: Hahahahahaha
*Sonic and Tails looks up dumbfounded while Blaze gets into her fighting stance with a lot flame on her hand*
Blaze: Reveal yourself!?
???: Oh Blaze how could you have forgotten about me? Oh yes when Shadow and Silver went back in time and destroyed me causing that world to be erased and make a new one where I never existed. Well that doesn't matter as I'm back and I won't let that happen again and this time I'll kill you Sonic for sure, then Shadow and Silver and ill destroy the rest of the world
*The shadowy mists start to swirl down to the ground in front of them. Sonic gets into his fighting stance as Tails pulls out his arm cannon* *The mist starts to disappear to reveal a Shadow copy but something was off. This copy had a grey mouth and ears and while Shadow has red streaks, this copy had a dull cyan color. He also had green eyes with viper pupils and no mouth*
???: Let me introduce myself first
*He bows*
Mephiles: My name is Mephiles the dark
Sonic: Ha, well Mephiles the dark your just like other baddies I stopped in the past, you won't be any different
*Sonic looks at Blaze, She looks at Sonic and nods*
Blaze: Prepare yourself Mephiles!
*Sonic and Blaze then rush at him while Tails tries to get a good aim on Mephiles. He only chuckles at their attempt to stop him*
Sonic: Take this!
*Sonic uses his home lock attack on Mephiles*
Blaze: Ahhh!
*Blaze tries to punch him with a fiery fist attack*
Mephiles: So predictable
*Mephiles sticks out his hands catching Sonic and Blaze then throwing them aside, they get back dazzled on what happened to them*
Sonic: What just happened?
Blaze: I... don't know
Mephiles: Is this all you got?
Tails: Think again!
*Tails charges his arm cannon and fires it directly at Mephiles*
Mephiles: Ahh
Sonic: Nice shot Tails!
*Mephiles stumbles and looks at his hand, he clenches it in pain*
Mephiles: Looks like I didn't gain all my powers yet
*He looks up at the three*
Mephiles: Well looks like you win, for now
*He sinks into the shadows. Sonic runs to him before he can fully sinks into the shadows but fails*
Sonic: Dang he got away
*Blaze puts a hand on his shoulder*
Blaze: Is alright, he must've not gotten that far from here
Sonic: I hope your right Blaze
