Sonic: Darkened World

Shadow and Amy part 2

Amy: Uhhh...
*Amy starts to open her eyes from that screeching creature that almost devoured her in darkness. She sits up rubbing her head*
Amy: Owww....my head...
*She then looks around to see nothing but black*
Amy: W-where am I?
*A voice next her speaks*
???: Your in a cave now be quiet
*This startles her and she jumps and screams. The character puts a hand on her mouth, she then remembers what happened and who this was. She listen to him and states absolutely quite. She then hears her name being screeched which gave her shivers. She sees some light in front of her to see those demonic creatures run past the cave thinking that they ran further ahead. After they left the figure removed his hand. Amy thought she was following Sonic yet she wasn't at all*
Amy: S-Shadow did you save me?
Shadow: Of course I did, even though your annoying I won't let anything harm a f...f...huuuu a friend
*He looks away from here a bit embarrassed from having to say something he really said often. Amy now feels mixed feelings. She feels mad from Shadow calling her annoying, pleased that she is safe, she feels like laughing because Shadow stumbled from saying friends and a feeling of safety around him. She just smiles at him*
Amy: Thank you Shadow
*She brings her knees in and looks at the ground smiling. Shadow looks back at her with his arms crossed*
Shadow: No problem
*Shadow then notices the light from outside was fading which means it's night time or midnight*
Shadow: We should sleep in here then leave as soon as we can before those things find us
Amy: Right
*Amy then goes on her side and curls up into a ball. Shadow sits down and sees that Amy is freezing by the way she is starting to shake. Shadow starts to feel a bit cold him self. Shadow then grunts quietly from what he is going to do. Shadow moves close to Amy and wraps on arm around her making her close to Shadow. Amy opens her eyes to see that she is really close to Shadow*
Shadow: It's not what you think, it's only to keep us warm for the night
*Amy is speechless yet she closes her eyes. She really does feel safe around him especially in his arms*

*7 hours later, Amy starts to wake up slowly. She yawns and sits up, she rubs her eyes and opens them. She looks around to see Shadow wasn't here, she gets worried, she gets up and starts calling his name with no response*
Amy: Oh nonononono, I'm going to die out here from those creatures.....
*She starts to weep thinking of how she was going to meet her end but she can her walking from outside. Her eyes widen and tries to contain herself but she can't, as the footsteps get closer to the cave. She pictures of one or more of those things walking in and seeing her. See then sees a figure standing at the entrance, then it starts to walk to her*
Amy: S-stay back!
Shadow: What are you blabbering about?
*Amy was struck from confusion, then anger*
Amy: Grrrrr...why you!!
*Amy got out her hammer from somewhere and charged at Shadow with some tears in her eyes. As we all know Shadow, this attempt doesn't work. Shadow grabs the hammer and looks at her, he sees that she was crying*
Shadow: Why were you crying?
Amy: Because when I woke up I didn't see you!
Shadow: ....
Amy: Then I got worried like you left me to die from those things outside! I thought I was done for! I thought you-
*She starts to weep again from fright and happiness that Shadow came back for her. She loosens her grip on the hammer and falls on her knees*
Amy: I thought ....you were one of them to finish me off....
*She puts her hands on her face to hide her self from a foolish mistake she did. Shadow looks at her, he then looks at the hammer in his hand. He puts the hammer down and out of no where he hugs Amy. Amy wraps her arms around Shadow and cries on his shoulder. Shadow then thinks about Maria and how she wanted him to live and feel knew things like a feeling somewhere in his heart that he is feeling right now around Amy but he doesn't know what it is yes even though he has a hunch on what it is. He sighs and thinks of the words to say to Amy*
Shadow: Amy, I won't let anything happen to you trust me
*Amy tightens her grip and stats whimpering to hear him talk*
Shadow: They have to get threw me or kill me to get to you, but they won't because I'm the ultimate life form there ever was and they will have a hard time dealing with me if they try to touch you
*Amy starts to smile and wipes her tears. She then gives Shadow a kiss on the cheek which surprises them both but mostly Shadow*
Amy: Thank you Shadow, your pretty sweet you know?
*Shadow just smirks at her. They both get up and Shadow grabs Amy's hand which makes her blush a bit. They walk out of the cave to reveal the grey clouds in the sky ever so lightly showing light. Shadow grips his hold and starts to walk right*
Shadow: The reason why I was gone was to find somewhere else other than this cave, if we follow this road it will lead us to a forest but then idk what else beyond
Amy: Ok, but next time don't do that again ok?
Shadow: Alright

*They reach the forest which is darker than the night time of this world. Amy get a a bit closer to Shadow with a scared look as she looks around the darkness. Shadow though opens his free palm and casts a glowing orb. Amy sees the light from the orb that's red in Shadow's palm. She points at it*
Amy: Whoa Shadow what is that?
Shadow: It's called chaos light
Amy: Chaos light?
Shadow: I discovered this new move from one of my missions I had to do which was dark like this forest here
Amy: So what does it do? Does it only admit light?
Shadow: Yes and no, it's a move that blinds the target on how bright you want it to be
Amy: Wow, so it can bring back some light to this whole world!
Shadow: Not exactly
Amy: Huh?
Shadow: It has a limit unless I go super or even hyper at that matter, but we don't have the chaos emeralds
Amy: Aww, well at least Blaze has her set of soul emeralds that she brought with her I hope
Shadow: Ya but she could only go super while Sonic, me and everyone else can't
Amy: Sonic....
Shadow: ....
