Tails and Marine

*Tails and Marine ran what seemed to be like for hours now. Tails and Marine finally stop at a meadow and hide in the tall grass. They take this advantage to rest. They pant fast and quickly and sit to be relieved. There legs started to hurt a lot like they were broken into pieces. They stop running to rub their legs and catch their breaths.
Marine: Owww... my legs hurt. It's like knifes that pierced into them so I can't move
Tails: Ya but at least we can sit and rest
*But they hear something that make them stay quiet. They hear the creatures screaming their names on the other side of the meadow. They missed the both of them which was a close call. They smile at each other as they are still trying to catch their breaths. They both laugh that they are safe now*
Tails: Heheh that was close
Marine: Ya it was
*The sky becomes a bit darker thank before, they both see this meaning that it's becoming night time. Tails then yawns and rubs his eyes. Tails and Marine lay in their sides with their back together for some warmth which wasn't enough as the night start to cool down. They both still have their eyes open thinking of what to do or say to each other*
Marine: Tails?
Tails: Ya?
Marine: Just wanted to know if your awake
Tails: Well I am
Marine: and Tails?
Tails: Ya?
Marine: I'm cold....
Tails: Well it is pretty cold and the only way to warm is to-
Marine: Share out body heat
Tails: ya....
Marine: .....
Tails: .....
*Tails and Marine turn over to face one another. Tails could have sworn he say a tinkle in her eye from light as he turned. The strange part that it's really dark and there is no light to be found but only the day time as the clouds blocked out the sun entirely. He just ignores it and he scoots closer to Marine. They both blushes as their body's touched. Tails felt a bit brave though, like he can take on those creatures now. Marine on the other hand felt warmth and safely. They both smile at each other and fall asleep*

*The next grey morning Marine wakes up to see that Tails is sitting up looking at the sky. This confuses her so she crawls quietly and jumps on Tails's back. This makes him jump and he looks around to see a smiling laughing Marine hugging him. He smiles at her and says*
Tails: You gave me a heart attack
*She talks in her accent*
Marine: Hehehe well I am a pirate lad
*Tails chuckles at her*
Marine: Did that help you by any chance?
Tails: Ya it did
Marine: What were you thinking about anyway?
Tails: Oh uhh I was thinking about the others
Marine: Oh....
*Marine stops hugging Tails and looks to the ground a bit depressed. Tails hugs her this time*
Tails: It's fine Marine I'm sure they are safe
*Marine smiles and looks up*
Marine: Ya I guess so
*Tails gets up and hovers a bit with his 2 tails to look around. He couldn't see any of those monsters anywhere*
Tails: Alright the cost is clear come on Marine
*Marine gets up and looks around but couldn't see but she trusts him, she smiles and nods at him. Tails lands back to the ground. They both grab each other's hand and walk. As they walk Tails remembers what happened last night with the light on his arm cannon hitting one of those things and that fox. He can only think of that as he grips Marine's hand. Marine looks at him a bit worried but Tails puts a serious and determined face on*
