•CHAPTER 11•

Colby pov:

1 week later.

I've been thinking about a few things recently, one being Alyx and my youtube career. I think I'm ready to tell my viewers about Alyx, they already know that we are friends and a lot of people have been suspecting us dating since she posted that sleeping pic on the plane on her story, she is in every single of one my vlogs and now considering we live together it is going to be pretty difficult to hide it.
I just don't know if she's ready.

"Babe come here for a minute please?" I shouted to Alyx who was in the next room.

"Yeah?" She asked as she came into our bedroom and sat down on the bed facing me. We both sat crossed legged and i placed my hands out on her thighs.

"I was wondering, and please say no if you aren't ready, would you like to let my viewers know we're dating?" I asked, terrified of her response.

"I'm scared." Alyx said and placed her hands on top of mine.

"Babe I promise you will be fine, they will love you. Heck, the already love you, have you seen the comments on my vlogs? They call us #goals" I said laughing trying to re-assure her.

"I'm ready" She nodded her head. I leant in and gave her a kiss and a hug.

I set up my camera and lights as Alyx sat and watched me, it was finally ready and I pressed record sitting back down on the bed.

"Do I look okay?" Alyx asked looking at me.

"You look gorgeous babe" I said making eye contact with her.

"I love you" She said holding the eye contact.

"I love you too" I replied and she leant in giving me a quick kiss.

I noticed Alyx staring at the camera for a second and then she realised the red light flashing.

"Wait that means it's recording already?" She asked.

"Yeah, can I keep that last bit of us in? It was cute" I admitted and asked.

She laughed and nodded her head unaware that it had been recording when she asked if she looked okay. She's the cutest.

We filmed the video. I introduced Alyx, I got some cute shots of us and edited in some clips that I had recorded ages ago when we were dating but hadn't told social media so couldn't add in the vlog at the time. I stared editing the video straight away because I knew the great idea I had for it.

Alyx pov:

I sat at the kitchen worktop hours and hours later with Sam, Colby and Kat. We were all sitting talking whilst we waited on Colby finishing editing the video because we all wanted to see it.

"And done" Colby said removing his hands from the MacBook.

"We want to see, we want to see" Me, Sam and Kat cheered demanding Colby to show us the video.

The video was the cutest thing I've ever seen. We sat down and i introduced myself to the camera, we talked about how we met, how long we've been dating, how I moved from Scotland and why we hadn't told social media sooner. In between the parts of us talking flashed cute clips Colby had captured of us but not included in the vlogs. A few clips flashed up that I didn't recognise recording, Colby had secretly took them. One was a clip of Colby kissing me on the forehead whilst I was asleep on the plane. Another was a clip of me running around with Sam and Kat on the beach whilst Colby watched. There were so many cute and goofy clips of us. The next part took me by surprise because I wasn't in this bit and I didn't know Colby had filmed it, it was a clip of him sitting down and telling the camera how much he loved me and how much I meant to him. I had never heard anything so sweet from anyone before.

"ITS SO CUTE" I shout laughed as the video ended and I wiped away a tear that ran down my face.

"You guyss!!! That was freaking adorable!" Kat exclaimed.

"That was pretty cute, that's a really good video bro" Sam added in.

Colby walked round to my side of the worktop and gave me a hug. I loved him so much, and that video was so cute. I couldn't wait until he posted it tomorrow and everyone could see the editing skills that boi had.

Colby pov:

It was 1:50pm the next day (Friday-one of Colbys upload days) and it was nearly time to upload the video. I decided to tweet to let everyone know.

@ColbyBrock: NEW VIDEO IN 10 MINUTES GUYS! This video actually means the world to me, it's my favourite thing I've ever made. Can't wait until you see it!

I heard my phone ding and looked at it to see:

@AlyxPress: !!!😶

I looked over from my desk to my bed to see Alyx smirking at me. I laughed and climbed out of my chair, walking to the bed and attacked her face with kisses and giving her a huge bear hug.

"Colby its 1:59" She said pulling her face away and pointing her phone to me.

I ran to my computer and as soon as it hit 2pm I clicked upload.
I then shut down the YouTube tab and then grabbed mine and Alyx's phones putting them away on the bedside table.

"What are you doing? I need to see what they think" Alyx said resisting when I took her hand leading her down the stairs.

"Well the video is 13minutes and 40seconds long, so nobody will have actually fully seen it for another 13minutes so there is no point in looking at comments" I told her.

"Fineee" She answered taking my hand as we went down the stairs.

I really really hope everyone likes Alyx.
