Keith eventually found himself falling asleep, head laying next to his boyfriend. But little did he know that Lance was awoken by an unimaginable nightmare, in a cold sweat.
He'd dreamed of his whole family, both of them, dying. It was all his fault it seemed, as everytime he would reach out or call for them, they'd be brutally murdered by Zarkon. And it happened over and over and over and over and over and ov-
Keith woke up, pulling Lance into a warm embrace. Lance's heart was beating a million miles a minute. He barely registered Keith hugging him before he burst into tears, nearly squeezing Keith to death. And he was okay with it, he just wanted Lance to be okay.
