The Equidistant is the city of the rich, but they are far from happy.
In the age of a second technological revolution, loneliness, anxiety, and depression are higher than ever. That was the reason they associated to opening Happiness Capital - An enterprise growing in popularity. The service they offer? Rewriting memories.
Been bullied in high school? Want to remember your mother living for a decade longer than she did? Now, there is Happiness Capital. The Happy Place for the rich.
But memories don't come from nowhere. Too complex to create, existing memories are sought.
This is why Alex and Sena, sisters struggling to survive in Sector C, sold their memories to the Happiness Capital.
The damage has already been done when Alex discovers their true motives. What they had done to her sister. The one person she loves the most in the world.
No one can prove it. Or don't want to. People prefer other, happier people, even if they didn't truly know them anymore.
Join Alex and her friends as they build the Vendetta, a struggle to take down the enterprise that is infiltrating people's minds and memories. Slowly trickling out of time, they know they have two options.
Succeed, and they may survive.
Fail, and they will Forget.
