Chapter 6: Promised Day

        Yuichi: "MOTHEEER!!!" 

 I woke up with a teary eye. 

        Yuichi: "Ahh . . . I dreamt about that again." 

How long do I have to remember this nightmare of mine? I want to forget this. I want to move on, but will I ever break from this chain of my past? 

 *the alarm clock rings 

        Yuichi: "Oh crap! It's already 7:30am! Damn I need to hurry!" 

I'm really getting used of being late. I hope Ayana will not notice. 

I wore my uniform and brushed my teeth. I don’t have any time for breakfast. I run downstairs. 

        Yuichi: ("That’s weird. I don’t see my old man here.") 

 I do think that’s a good thing. I don’t have to see him early Monday morning. 

I run on my way to school. I feel like I forgot something special. Oh well, maybe I'll remember it later this morning. 

I run as fast as I can, then I just remembered. Today is my promised day with Kayano-san. 

        Yuichi: "Dammit! Get hold of yourself Yuichi!" 

 I arrived at school just in time. I'm really catching my breath here. 

        Sugita: "YUICHI! What's with the sweaty face?" 

        Yuichi: "Ahhh... ahh.. I'm going to kill you first thing in the morning!" 

        Sugita: "Oh come on bro. *whispers* how's the flowers?" 

        Yuichi: "ahhh eehh. . . about that. . ." 

        Ayana: "Y-U-I-KUN! Do I have another gift from my secret admirer? *smiles" 

        Yuichi: "*whispers* Come on Sugita, maybe you can tell her now?" 

        Sugita: "*whispers* Are you an Idiot? There's no way I could do that!" 

        Ayana: "HMM. . . Are you two hiding something from me?" 

        Yuichi & Sugita: "NO! NO!" 

 Kayano-san just came in the room. Almost all the students stared at her. Well, a transfer student that doesn’t come to class often is sure suspicious. I wonder what she feels. 

        Ayana: "Okay class! Stop staring at Kayano-san and sit on your chairs. HR teacher will be coming here soon." 

        Class 3-D: "Okay!" 

Thanks to that it would be less awkward to Kayano -san. To think about that, we need sneak out of the school at lunch break again. Kayano-san looks at me. 

         Yuichi: ("Ehh?? Is she mad at me?") 

 Oh well, after this, everything will go back to normal for me. I could focus on my savings and go to a far-away city. Start my life there and get rich! 

        Sugita: "*whispers* hey Ayana-san. Do you think something is wrong with Yuichi lately? I think he got an eye for the transfer student?" 

        Ayana: "*whispers* there's no way Yui-kun could learn to love anyone. I know him." 

        Sugita: "*whispers* you got a point there."
