You're What?!

My mind is cloudy the whole drive to Westerville.  This was supposed to be such a happy day for me.  Thankfully we tied the Warblers so no hard feelings for this party tonight.  And Seb and I are FINALLY telling all of our friends about our pending nuptials.  But then Hunter has to go and kiss me again.  Planting seeds of doubt and insecurity in my mind.

"Just remember Shann, we're only 17. Until you say 'I Do' you still have plenty of options out there."

Damn you, Clarington!

Why must you do this to me.

I love Sebastian.

I know I do.

But why must they both be so ridiculously attractive, talented, easy to talk to and sweet to me? It is really starting to mess with my mind.

My GPS alerts me that I have finally made it to Sebastian's house. It can't believe I haven't been here before, but he claims his parents are away a lot which is why he boards at Dalton.  I drive up the circular driveway to find it littered with cars.  Crap....  Apparently I'm the last one here.  I spy an empty spot right next to Blaine's car and park. I exit the car, grabbing my bag out of the back seat and start up the walkway to the front door. I take a deep breath and then push the doorbell.

Sebastian's mom answers it, a smile lighting up her entire face. It is amazing the similarities between the two of them when they smile, Sebastian's eyes crinkle and light up the exact same way.  I realize that I've been openly staring when she chuckles softly, gesturing to the bag in my hands.  I instantly shake out of my stupor, "What was that again?"

She smirks, so much like Seb, and reaches for my bag, her slight accent evident as she speaks again.  "Darling, I asked if you wanted me to take your bag up to Sebastian's room for you."  I giggle softly, bringing my free hand up to my mouth to cover it, but I absolutely adore how she pronounces his name (a/n listen to clip above).  She raises an eyebrow at me, "Is something wrong?  Do you not wish me to?"  I shake my head and blush slightly.  "No, no.  If it isn't much of a trouble I think that would be wonderful.  I just love the way you say his name though.  I may adopt that pronunciation myself."

Her face lights up again as she takes the bag from my hand, "Well I think that would be tres magnifique.  It is the way I intended it to be but Americans don't usually understand."  She pulls me in for a quick hug, kissing me once on both cheeks. She tells me that everyone else is out back near the pool house and points me in the right direction before she swoops up the stairs with my bag in hand. I really do like his mother an awful lot.

I walk in the direction she pointed, wandering through rooms along the way. This place is slightly larger than my own home in Pittsburgh and more ornately decorated but still feels comfortable. I can't help but smile at the photos I see of a baby Sebastian on the piano. He is just so precious. Finally I reach the doorway to the outside again, seeing tons of people spread around. Some dancing. Some just chatting. I spy Sebastian talking to Blaine with his back to me. My cousin's eyes land on me and before he gets a chance to speak I place a finger to my lips so he doesn't give away my presence. Stealthy I sneak up on them.

"Killer, it really means a lot to me that you understand. I know Shannon agrees with me, you're so important to her. I'm just worried about what the rest of them will say."

"Sebastian, you worry too much. It's going to give you wrinkles." He spins around with wide eyes, mouth open in shock. I'm smiling sweetly up at him as he wraps his arms around me, dropping kiss after kiss in my hair. He pulls back slightly, eyes twinkling and whispers to me, "Princess, I see you've been talking to my mother.... Finally someone says my name correctly. You are just so perfect, I swear."

I giggle as I pull away, grabbing his hand in my own. "I absolutely adore your mother. And I'm not perfect Seb, just perfect for you." He nods at me, drawing me closer again so that I can kiss him. I drop his hand as I wrap both of mine around his neck, pulling him down to me.  I can feel him smiling as I keep kissing him eagerly, completely forgetting about our surroundings.

We must be kissing for quite some time because I start to hear someone nervously clearing their throat.

"Bas, Belle, for all that is right and good in the world can you PLEASE stop that. I appreciate your exuberance but I don't want to have to witness it EVERY TIME! It's like you're addicts or something..."

I'm giggling as I pull away.  Sebastian licks his lips and looks at me with deep emerald green eyes, "You are my favorite drug, my strawberry flavored, coconut scented fiancée." I smile up at him, rising slightly on my toes to place one more chaste kiss to his lips. "You're pretty intoxicating yourself, Sebastian."  He practically growls at me in response, "When you say my name like that it is almost as good as when you use that breathy, pleading voice.  Maybe we could put off the announcement for a few hours and head upstairs instead??"

I slap him gently on the chest as I drop back down on my feet. "Sebby, we've already put this off long enough. We're going to have to tell them soon before one of the girls or Hunter does it for us." He grumbles under his breath as he takes my hand again, of course Clarington would be the one she brings up.... I raise an eyebrow at him, "What was that Bas?" He shakes his head as if clearing his thoughts and smiles at me again, "Nothing Pretty Girl. What do you say we do this." I nod up at him, biting my lip and he leads me towards the pool.

We walk to right near the pool, where everyone can see us and Sebastian tries to get their attention. "Hey you guys!!

Nothing.

No one even as much as looks in our direction.

He glances at me and then tries again, slightly louder this time.  "Attention Warblers!!  New Directions!!  Listen up!!"

This time only Blaine, who is still standing relatively nearby looks to us.  "Guys, I don't think that's going to work." I'm biting my lip again. "Sebby, what do we do?" He shakes his head and just looks confused, "I'm not sure..."

And then an idea hits me. "Hey Blainey, can you kill the music?" Blaine nods at me and goes to turn off the music eliciting groans and complaints from everyone there. Sebastian looks at me with a smirk on his face, "Well played Princess. Well played."

Finally he turns to everyone and begins to speak, "Hey guys!! Thanks for coming. This party isn't just to celebrate Sectionals but Shann and I have an announcement we wanted to make." He looks down at me and I fidget slightly. "Oh my turn, right. Like Seb said we have an announcement we wanted to make." He looks at me and I look back with a nod. We just blurt out our news at the same time.

"We're getting married!!"

The crowd gets so quiet I swear I can hear the television two houses over. And then it is an absolute sea of chaos. Rachel, Santana, Quinn and Britney are jumping up and down with glee. Tina and Mercedes are mobbing them for details. But it is the guys who are having the most severe reaction.

"Now your chance is officially blown Nicky."

"Shut up Jeff. It's been gone. This just confirms it."

"Oh my god! Blaine did you know about this? How could you let her actually marry the Meerkat?!"

Thad is at least supportive as he comes over to give me a hug and Sebastian a high five.

Hunter is legitimately pouting in the middle of the crowd, arms crossed over his chest, giving me his puppy dog eyes.

And then I hear it, the question everyone has to be wondering because why else would two 17 year olds make such a large decision.

"So when's the baby due?"

I spin in Puck's direction, eyes wide, as his words set off a whole new firestorm.

"Hell to the no!!"

"Oh dear lord.... Meerkat babies?!"

I'm speechless now, face palming. This cannot be happening.
