WHEN I WALKED into math, Mrs. Frills gave me a packet of work stating that this was our review packet for the test at the end of the week.

Petunia and I couldn't believe it! She was giving us a test last week of first semester. I'm pretty sure all of us were thinking the same thing, Why?

The whole class was upset about the test, since we had tests in other classes. Petunia and I spent the class talking about this upcoming Saturday. We were going laser tagging with Sunny. We also did some of the packet, but not a lot.

When the bell rang, I said bye to Petunia and went to meet Sunny by the locker room. During personal fitness we found out that we would have finals in class. Mostly the pushup, sit up, jump rope, and a few other simple tests. Well, simple for me.

We spent the class prepping for everything. Mr. Kosher had a TA so we could split up and get the prep work done faster. When the class was over I was already mentally exhausted.

Time to go to the death class. I told myself. I hope Mrs. Vestion doesn't give us a test.

As soon as I thought this, I regretted it. Mrs. Vestion already warned us to prepare for a brutal week. I had prepared, but wasn't prepped enough to be going to class already mentally exhausted. Mrs. Vestion gave us a fifteen page packet on our entrance and told us to have it done by Thursday.

I spent all class scouring over my notes looking for the answers. At the end of the course, I still didn't understand half of the packet. I thought that I'd ask Sunny that evening.

In World History, Bella was telling me all about her first three classes. She had lots of surprise finals. I proceeded to tell her about my math surprise final, as well as my fifteen page packet I had to do for English by Thursday.

Bella laughed at me, then proceeded to tell me that Mrs. Vestion always gives big packets. Therefore, she warned me that half the packet we won't know anything about.

"How do you know this Bella?"

"I had her last year," Bella explained. "She is literally Lilith herself." She chuckled. "I'm sorry you had to have her. You'll survive, I guarantee it. You're stronger than I was last year."

I shook my head in disbelief. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She honestly believed that a pup was more capable than her. I had to remind myself that probably to her, I was stronger, but not in the way she was thinking.

The bell rang and I said goodbye to Bella. Thankfully, Sunny was able to help me mentally prepare for the last two classes. I was grateful for a break from core classes, my fifth was American Sign Language.

Sunny and I talked, well signed, about what our plan for Saturday was. Mostly about how we were going to destroy Petunia. We planned to have one of us distract her while the other went around and shot her.

The bell came way too quickly, but we were told at the end of class we would have to final. Sunny and I rejoiced on our way to Chemistry, where we found out we would have a small final on the last two chapters.

We got home and I locked myself in my room all evening so I could study and do some work. I went over everything and got so stressed, I couldn't focus and started stress eating.

"It's too early to already be stressing about finals," Sunny said. "But I have to keep reminding myself that it's your first finals. From friend to friend, don't stress to much."

"Thanks Sunny," I replied sarcastically. "How do you now stress about finals?"

Sunny spent a few minutes telling me how to center myself when I get stressed. After we went through some exercises, we both headed to bed.

We repeated this until Thursday night. Thursday night we hung out with Petunia. We had a study party until about 10:00. That was early for us, but all things considered, it was probably good. We all had finals the next day. After Petunia left, Sunny and I made our lunches that night and put them in the fridge. Sunny got everything ready so the morning wasn't as stressful as it could be.

The next morning came way to fast. I got up and made some toast with honey and butter. Sunny came down not long after me. As we talked, I made her some toast with just butter. We ate on our way to school. When we arrived, we sat in the car straight up until the five minute bell. Then we went straight to class.

My first two classes went smoothly. When I got to Mrs. Vestion's class, Jade was already panicking and the final hadn't started. She said she had heard that nothing in the packet was on the final. I calmed her down just in time for the test. The test wasn't as hard as Jade made it seem, I think that was because I studied all the notes we took as well as filled out the packet.

Bella ran up to me as soon as third was over and was almost crying. She said she thought she failed her math final. I told her she was so smart but that she had to focus on the World History final. We took our places and the test was handed out. It was easier than I had thought. Maybe it was to give us a break from all our other finals. When I turned it in, I breathed a breath of relief.

The bell rang and I walked as fast as I dared to get to ASL. Sunny was already waiting for me. We quizzed each other on the words. Then the test began.

We rushed to chemistry and briefly went over our notes of the last two chapters. We felt pretty ready for the test, both of us reminding the other that this was the only thing standing in our way of a fun weekend.

I finished the test with time to spare. I started quickly sketching my and Sunny's battle plan for Saturday. I was going to be the distraction, since it was my idea. When the final bell rang, Sunny and I raced to her car and drove home as fast as we dared.

We threw our bags in our rooms and talked and laughed with Petunia the rest of the night. After Petunia left, Sunny and I stayed up, later than we probably should have, polishing up our laser tagging demolition plan.
