The irritating sound of my alarm woke me up from my nap. I looked at the time: 3:15, the time I usually start working on my homework. I sighed in frustation and stood up from my bed to look for my books. I grabbed Business Studies and English History as well as my notebooks, and started working on their respective homeworks. After half an hour of nerve wracking sighs and many broken pencils as a result of my frustration, I heard a knock on the door. I stood up and went to open it.

- Hello, Williams.

- Johnson. What are you doing here? I thought boys weren't allowed in this side of the house - he shrugged as he stepped into my room.

- Nice place - he said as he walked around it. I rolled my eyes and closed the door, leaning on it after.

- Thank You. What do you want? - I asked him as I walked to my bed and sat on it. He grinned as he saw my Business book and nodded towards it. - The project? You want to talk about it?

- Yes - he said.

- You broke one of the school's most important rules and left class ten minutes early to talk about the project? - he nodded - I don't believe you. - he sighed.

- Fine. You caught me - he winked and sat next to me. I moved away from him - I actually came here to tell you to get ready.

- Get ready for what? - he eyed me. For a moment I saw his deep blue eyes grow tender and fill with dissapointment. As fast as it happened, it went away.

- Our date. - he said, grinned and left the room. I sat there in silence and after a few seconds grabbed my phone to check the date: Friday. I sighed and closed my eyes. I had been so busy with school I had forgotten that three days had went by. I was so lost, I still tought it was Tuesday. The door opened. I looked up and saw Ali rushing to the bathroom, Mina sighing behind her.

- What happened to you two? - I asked Mina

- Ali is on a mood and it is not very pleasant. She has been like this since Tuesday - she looked over at the bathroom door. I shrugged and then walked to where Mina was.

- Hey. Can I talk to you for a second?- she looked at me weirdly and nodded. - What day is it today?

- Friday...Are you okay, Carter? - she asked me. I nodded and went back to my bed.

- It seems Ali is not the only one with problems. What is wrong with you? - she said sitting next to me.

- Johnson came here like ten minutes before you guys,

- Johnson?...Wait...Brent? - I nodded - What did he want? - she asked sitting beside me.

- He told me to get ready for our date

- Your date? Oh! It is Friday today! The week has gone really fast!

- I know. He was kind of dissapointed when I didn't remember - she thought about it for a minute but then shrugged and pulled me up

- Go get ready. Ugh Carter, look - she added at my expression - I don't think he'll be dissapointed much longer. Boys are not sentimentalist. Come on. He's hot and he wants to go out with you. You know how many points you'll win?

- Tons - Ali said coming out of the bathroom - I was in the bathroom but I can still hear. Look go out with him today. We can help you with your homework when you come back - I smiled at them and thanked them. It took me a few hours but I was finally ready. I had put on a light brown day dress, with a white belt, my black leather boots and I decided to let my hair loose with just a headband to hold it. Mina was kind enough to lend me a few accesories: a silver necklace and a pair of silver earrings. Ali heped me with my makeup.
