Paul's Perspective:
The next day, I went to class expecting Jane to be next to me but her seat was empty. It wasn't like her to miss a day of school, she was always present and had a perfect attendance. After class, I asked her friend Melissa where she could be "I don't know, she hasn't called or texted why, is something wrong?" she said "she didn't show up to class, I haven't heard from her since last night" I said. I though maybe she got sick or something and maybe I was just worried about nothing.Jane's Perspective:
I could feel someone forcing themselves onto me, but I couldn't see them, they had blindfolded me while their accomplice held my hands down so I couldn't move. I was scared, I didn't know what to do, there wasn't anything I could do. I couldn't understand why this was happening to me, but it was, and nobody could help me. I tried to scream but whoever was on me put their hand over my mouth "shhh" they said as they pulled down my skirt.Paul's Perspective:
I went to lunch and sat with my friends Ty, Vanessa, and Louis "hey guys" I said as I sat down "hey, what's going on? you seem on edge about something" Louis said "yeah it's um, Jane, she didn't show up today have any of you seen her?" I asked "nope, when's the last time you heard from her?" Ty asked "last night, she came over to study and I haven't heard from her since then" I said "maybe it's a family issue or she's sick" Vanessa said "you said what I just thinking" I said. We started changing the conversation into other things "so, is the algebra test hard?" I asked "it was hella hard for me" Ty said "shit, I hope I pass that shit is hard" Vanessa said. After school, I went home and my mom was cleaning in the kitchen "hey mom" I said "hey, how's school coming along?" She asked "good" I said. I was about to go upstairs but then mom stopped me "hey, is something wrong?" She asked "um, it's Jane, she wasn't at school, but i'm sure it's nothing" I said "okay" she replied. I went upstairs, plopped my backpack down on the floor and dialed Jane's phone but the phone went straight to her voicemail, now I was really worried about her. I went over to her house and knocked on the front door, her mother answered "hello Mrs. Carmichael, is Jane home?" I asked "no, she never came home last night, I called the police they're on the lookout for her, she did say anything to you, before she left?" She asked in a sad tone "no, she just said she had to be home by eleven" I said. I went home and I had a million things running through my brain about where Jane is and what happened to her but I was sure nothing too bad could've happened to her because nothing bad hardly ever happens in this town.
Jane's Perspective:
They let me make one short call home but I could barely speak because one of the kidnappers strangled me before handing me the phone to call home. I called my mom "hello?" She said "he-help" I could just barely get those words out enough for her to hear "who is this? wait, Jane?!" She exclaimed "help" I struggled to say "OH MY GOD JANE, EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE ALRIGHT JUST, CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE!" She exclaimed but I could no longer speak "hello, HELLO?!!!" She exclaimed but the kidnapper hung the phone up before I could give any sign of hearing her. I was still blindfolded and had no idea what was going on around me except for what I felt happening to me. The kidnapper grabbed my arm and forced me into a room, I couldn't tell what room until I heard running water, it was the bathroom. The kidnapper shoved me into the bathtub where it was running really hot water, it burned but I couldn't scream. The kidnapper then proceeded to slowly slit my arm and put it under the water, it hurt like hell but again, I could not scream.
