Day Four

Dear Michael,

It is currently 1 am in the morning and I am in a hospital bed. Yesterday, I was non stop vomiting. It really scared my mother and I so she took me to the emergency room after calling my doctor. All day, I was poked and proded with needles. I'm not sure what is happening but I heard the doctor mumbling words that I couldn't make out to my mom and her sobbing uncontrollably.

My mom has been talking quietly and tip toeing around me all day. I asked her what was up but she just started crying again.

I've been feeling a little bit better but barely. My arms started bruising for no reason which only made my mom cry harder. Jesus Christmas.

You followed my friend last night on Twitter and I feel really happy for her. I mean, it might not seem like it but it's a pretty big deal. My entire life would be made if you followed me.

My mom has been on the phone with my family for a while and I'm not really sure why. She usually isn't able to talk to them frequently since they live in another country. Her eyes are all red and swollen from crying.

I'm scared, Michael.

Love,

Natalie.
